The Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation, formerly known as Canoe Creek Band/Dog Creek Indian Band, created as a result of merger of the Canoe Creek Band and Dog Creek Band is a First Nations government of the Secwepemc (Shuswap) Nation, located in the Fraser Canyon-Cariboo region of the Central Interior of the Canadian province of British Columbia. It was created when the government of the then-Colony of British Columbia established an Indian reserve system in the 1860s. It is a member government of the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council.
The territory of the band spans the Fraser River and is around the basins of Dog Creek, across from Gang Ranch, and Canoe Creek to the east of the river, and its canyon in between. The area is to the west of 100 Mile House and south of the city of Willams Lake and the reserves of the Alkali Lake First Nation in between.
The Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation has not signed any treaty with any settler-colonial political entity, nor has it ceded any land and let go its territorial claims. As part of the Northern Secwepemc te Qelmucw (Tribal Council), Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation has been in negotiation with the government of Canada and the government of British Columbia regarding a final treaty settling this matter. An "Agreement in Principle" was signed in 2018. Once a final agreement is signed between the Tribal Council, Canada, and British Columbia, it is expected that the Indian Reserves will be abolished, the territories under jurisdiction of Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation will expand significantly, and former reserves will be absorbed into settlement land under sovereignty of Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation. Indian Reserves under the administration of the band are: [2] As explained before, these reserves were unilaterally defined by the Government of British Columbia, and thus the Nation has never retracted its claim on its territory. These reserves are expected to be abolished and absorbed into settlement lands, after the signing of a final agreement.

Williams Lake Indian Reserve, also called the Williams Lake First Nation or the Williams Lake Band Reservation and commonly referred to locally as the Sugarcane Reserve, aka Sugarcane or The Cane or SCB, is an Indian reserve in British Columbia, Canada, located at the east end of Williams Lake and 12 km east of the city of the same name, on the right bank of the San Jose River. and is home to the Williams Lake Indian Band. The band is part of the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council, also known as the Cariboo Tribal Council, which is one of two tribal councils of the Secwepemc peoples.
The Skatin First Nations, aka the Skatin Nations, are a band government of the In-SHUCK-ch Nation, a small group of the larger St'at'imc people who are also referred to as Lower Stl'atl'imx. The Town of Skatin - the St'at'imcets version of the Chinook Jargon Skookumchuck- is located 4 km south of T'sek Hot Spring- alt. spelling T'sek Hot Spring - commonly & formerly named both St. Agnes' Well & Skookumchuck Hot Springs The community is 28 km south of the outlet of Lillooet Lake on the east side of the Lillooet River. It is approximately 75 km south of the town of Pemberton and the large reserve of the Lil'wat branch of the St'at'imc at Mount Currie. Other bands nearby are Samahquam at Baptiste Smith IR on the west side of the Lillooet River at 30 km. and Xa'xtsa First Nations; the latter is located at Port Douglas, near the mouth of the Lillooet River where it enters the head of Harrison Lake. The N'Quatqua First Nation on Anderson Lake, between Mount Currie and Lillooet, was at one time involved in joint treaty negotiations with the In-SHUCK-ch but its members have voted to withdraw, though a tribal council including the In-SHUCK-ch bands and N'Quatqua remains, the Lower Stl'atl'imx Tribal Council.
Ruby Creek is a locality on the Fraser River in the District of Kent, British Columbia, Canada, in the Upper Fraser Valley region, located on BC Highway 7 and the mainline of the Canadian Pacific Railway, near the confluence of Ruby Creek with the Fraser, northeast of Sea Bird Island. Ruby Creek Indian Reserve No. 2 of the Skawahlook First Nation is nearby, as is also Skawahlook Indian Reserve No. 1, one mile northeast of the mouth of Ruby Creek. Also in the locality is Lukseetsissum Indian Reserve No. 9 of the Yale First Nation.

Canoe Creek Indian Reserve No. 1, referred to by Statistics Canada as Canoe Creek 1, is an Indian reserve of the Canoe Creek Band/Dog Creek Indian Band of the Secwepemc people, located five miles northeast of the confluence of Canoe Creek with the Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada, in that province's Cariboo district. The reserve is 37.2 ha. in size.
Dog Creek is an unincorporated ranching settlement, located on the Fraser River, in the Cariboo region of British Columbia, Canada. Located on the northeast side of the Fraser's confluence with Dog Creek, it is opposite Gang Ranch on the west side of the river, which is connected by an old suspension bridge serving local ranch roads. Dog Creek's first post office opened in 1873. The Dog Creek reserves of the Canoe Creek/Dog Creek Indian Band are located east of the settlement. The ranches at Dog Creek, along with the Gang Ranch, mostly hire First Nations cowboys, most of them coming from the Canoe Creek/Dog Creek Band.
