Sue van Geijn is a Rotterdam, the Netherlands based contemporary artist (14 September 1988 -) born in Amsterdam, and Willem de Kooning Academy graduate.
Van Geijn is currently part of the artist-run group of the W139 in Amsterdam, wherefore she invited Kazuma Eekman, Emile Hermans, Iris Schutgevaar, Diedrik Sibma and Roos Wijma for the exposition UU&ME that opened on 10 June 2016. [1] [2] [3] She is the co-founder of buro BG "a concept development bureau based in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the Netherlands" which organised different collaborative events in vacant buildings and the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam. [4] [5] [6] Her work has been shown among others places at the W139, Route du Nord, Beurs van Berlage, BAK and can be found in different publications and prints such as the calendar 'I am not doing anything until I feel the need' by Joanneke Meester whereby the original works were also shown at the Nederlandse Bank. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] Her work often includes written texts to establish a connection with the architecture, the viewer, its surroundings or herself, many of which can be found in the public domain such as 'You are here now' and 'Conversations with the building'. Joram Jaron van Klaveren is a Dutch politician. As a member of the Party for Freedom he was an MP from 17 June 2010 until 21 March 2014. He subsequently was an independent until his term in office ended on 23 March 2017. He focused on matters of desegregation, employment-to-population ratio, egalitarianism and emancipation. From 24 March 2011 until 11 June 2014, he also was a member of the States-Provincial of Flevoland. He became well-known for anti-Muslim comments. In October 2018, he converted to Islam halfway through writing an anti-Islam book. After becoming a Muslim, he decided to rededicate his book to his search for religiosity and the subsequent conversion to Islam. His book titled "Apostatefrom Christianity to Islam in times of sécularisation and terror" was published in both Dutch and English.
Gerben Jan Mulder, is a Dutch artist who is living in New York City and Rio de Janeiro. Mulder moved from the Netherlands to the United States in 1993.
Theo van den Boogaard – also known as Theo Bogart – is a Dutch cartoonist. He first came to attention as an underground cartoonist in the early 1970s for the sexually explicit comics series Ans en Hans krijgen de kans. He is best known for co-creating Sjef van Oekel, a long-running comic strip based on the TV character, written by Wim T. Schippers. He received the 1989 Stripschapprijs for his body of work.

Helen Verhoeven is a painter and sculptor based in Berlin. Verhoeven was born in the Netherlands and moved to the U.S. in 1986. She attended the San Francisco Art Institute, New York Academy of Art, and the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. In 2008 she won the Dutch Royal Award for Modern Painting, in 2010 the Wolvecamp Painting Award, and in 2019 she was the recipient of the ABN-AMRO Art Prize. Eekman participated in different group expositions, with the biggest and most recent being UU&ME in the spacious W139 at the Warmoesstraat, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands together with 5 other young artists; initiator Sue van Geijn and, Emile Hermans, Iris Schutgevaar, Diedrik Sibma and Roos Wijma.
W139 is an artist-run space established in 1979 on the Warmoesstraat, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The former theatre was squatted in October 1979 by five young artists as "a movement against the closed world of commercial art and museums". Currently a group of national and international artists are organising different contemporary art shows by following the W139 artist-run approach. In 2016 the expositions 'Gym of Absolute Technology', 'Shifting Spaces' and 'UU&ME' were held.
