William Henry Victor Schultz (born January 28, 1997), better known by his stage name Sueco or SuecoTheChild, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. [1] His breakthrough came from his 2019 single "Fast", which was certified as platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in July 2022 after going viral on TikTok. [4] His 2021 song "Paralyzed" also gained considerable attention, peaking at 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 109 on the Global 200 as well as being certified gold by the RIAA. [5] [6]

He was signed by Atlantic Records after the success of "Fast" on SoundCloud and TikTok. [7] The song later appeared on his EP Miscreant. [8] In 2021, he was featured on Papa Roach's single "Swerve" alongside Fever 333. [9] In 2022, he released his debut full-length album It Was Fun While It Lasted, featuring the single "Paralyzed". The album was more pop-punk oriented compared to his previous work in trap and hip-hop. [1] Two years later, he followed up the album with Attempted Lover (2024), featuring the single "Outta My Head". The record was praised as being more emotive and mature than its predecessor.
