Sundarayya Vignana Kendram is a famous Library in Hyderabad, founded by a Voluntary trust in memory of late Puchalapalli Sundaraiah in 1988. The primary objective of the Kendram is the conservation of the cultural heritage of Indian civilization. [1]
The major part consists of Sundarayya's personal collection. The book donations of some literary giants and politicians, which include Dr. Aarudhra, Daasaradhi, Bezawada Gopala Reddy. The library houses more than 2,500,000 items of 19th and 20th century Telugu, Urdu and English literature. The Kendram is also purchasing the latest books and reports on a regular basis. The Urdu Research Center collection of Mr. Mohd. Abdus Samad Khan was purchased in 1996. [2] The latter collection suffered major damage in August 2000 flooding. [3]
The SVK is a partner in the Digital South Asia Library project, a global collaborative effort aimed at providing wider international access to rare historical resources. The SVK is one of three Indian institutions involved in this international venture, which includes some of the best universities in the world.

Osmania University is a collegiate public state university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Mir Osman Ali Khan, the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, issued a firman calling for its creation on 29 August 1917. It is the third oldest university in southern India, and the first to be established in the erstwhile Kingdom of Hyderabad. It was the first Indian university to use Urdu as a language of instruction, although with English as a compulsory subject. As of 2012, the university hosts 3,700 international students from more than 80 nations.

The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, known as The Huntington, is a collections-based educational and research institution established by Henry E. Huntington (1850–1927) and Arabella Huntington (c.1851–1924) in San Marino, California, United States. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is a major library and cultural center on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria, Egypt. It is a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria, once one of the largest libraries worldwide, which was lost in antiquity. The idea of reviving the old library dates back to 1974 when a committee set up by Alexandria University selected a plot of land for its new library. Construction work began in 1995, and after some US$220 millions had been spent, the complex was officially inaugurated on 16 October 2002. In 2009, the library received a donation of 500,000 books from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF). The gift makes the Bibliotheca Alexandrina the sixth-largest Francophone library in the world.
Telangana is a state in India situated on the south-central stretch of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. It is the eleventh-largest state and the twelfth-most populated state in India with a geographical area of 112,077 km2 (43,273 sq mi) and 35,193,978 residents as per 2011 census. On 2 June 2014, the area was separated from the northwestern part of Andhra Pradesh as the newly formed state of Telangana, with Hyderabad as its capital. Its other major cities include Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Karimnagar and Ramagundam. Telangana is bordered by the states of Maharashtra to the north, Chhattisgarh to the northeast, Karnataka to the west, and Andhra Pradesh to the east and south. The terrain of Telangana consists mostly of the Deccan Plateau with dense forests covering an area of 27,292 km2 (10,538 sq mi). As of 2019, the state of Telangana is divided into 33 districts.

Bagh Lingampally is a commercial and residential neighbourhood of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It has become one of the many major centers of Hyderabad. It has been a home to some Nawabs in the past and this area used to be full of fruit gardens belonging to them, from where prefix ‘Bagh' is derived. The place had a small village called Lingampally which had a tank where queens would bathe. The locality has gained importance due to close proximity to RTC X Roads, Chikkadpally, Barkatpura, Himayathnagar, Nallakunta and Koti. This suburb is a mixture of the Old and New City cultures of Hyderabad. There is a vegetable market on Saturdays.
Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library, in Patna, Bihar, is one of the national libraries of India. It was opened to the public on the 29th of October in 1891 by The Honourable Dr. Justice Sir Khan Bahadur Khuda Bakhsh. Its collection started with 4,000 of Bakhsh's own manuscripts, of which he inherited 1,400 from his father, Sir Mohammed Bakhsh, a lawyer from Patna.
The South Asia Union Catalogue, a component of the Digital South Asia Library, is a bibliography of books and periodicals published in South Asia from 1556 through the present. It is at present based on the holding of the Library of Congress and British Library, supplemented by records from the South Asia Microform Project at the Center for Research Libraries, the University of Chicago Library, the Roja Muthiah Research Library (RMRL), the Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, and other South Asian libraries. It is planned to include all known library holdings of the materials along with information about publications for which no holding library is known to create a definitive statement on publishing in the South Asian subcontinent.

It serves content in multiple scripts such as Devanagari, Roman and, primarily, Nastaliq. It also includes religious texts, including the Quran and the Mahabharata, a Sanskrit epic of ancient India. It hosts books from centuries earlier and is recognized the largest web portal in the world for the preservation of Urdu literature.
