"Sunshine" is a song and single by rapper/dancer Rye Rye featuring M.I.A. It was recorded in 2008 and released in 2010 and serves as the first single from her debut album Go! Pop! Bang! (2012). [1] The release on N.E.E.T. Recordings (via Interscope Records) was followed by an extended play of remixes, including work by The Cataracs, 12th Planet, MSTRKRFT, and L.A. Riots. The song also appeared in the episode "While You Weren't Sleeping" of the TV series Gossip Girl . [2] and The Bling Ring .

Music video

'The clip celebrates Rye Rye's urban upbringing, with b-girl dance moves, double dutching, and pick-up games. The video is the second video of Rye Rye's to feature M.I.A., after her debut video "Bang". Contrary to sources' claims, the video was not shot in Rye Rye's hometown of Baltimore instead the video was shot by director Jess Holzworth, in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn, NY. [3]

"Bass Down Low" is the debut solo single by American musician Dev. Written alongside producers The Cataracs, the song was released on November 16, 2010 through Universal Motown as the lead single from Dev's debut studio album, The Night the Sun Came Up (2011). "Never Will Be Mine" is a song by rapper Rye Rye featuring Swedish singer Robyn. Released in 2011 the song serves as the second single from her debut album Go! Pop! Bang!, appearing on the deluxe edition, whilst the R3hab remix appears on the standard edition. The song samples the chorus of Robyn's previous hit single Be Mine!. Its release on N.E.E.T. Recordings and Interscope Records was followed by a music video directed by Tim Nackashi. On August 11, 2011 the song debut at number 49 on the US Billboard Dance Charts.

Go! Pop! Bang! is the debut studio album by American rapper Rye Rye. It was released on N.E.E.T. Recordings, an imprint of Interscope Records. The album was originally scheduled for release in 2009, but it has since been delayed several times, due to a pregnancy and label issues. It was eventually released on May 15, 2012, with a deluxe version available through digital music retailers. The album features several artists including M.I.A., Akon, Tyga, Robyn, and Porcelain Black. Production credits are given to M.I.A., The Neptunes, Mr. Bangladesh, and RedOne. The variety of styles brought from each producer was praised by critics.

"New Thing" is a song and single by musician Rye Rye. It was recorded and released in 2011 by N.E.E.T. Recordings and Interscope Records with an accompanying music video. The song's release precedes the release of her debut album Go! Pop! Bang!. "New Thing" appears as a promo for designer Prabal Gurung's 2012 Resort Collection and in the 2011 Adidas "Women Go All In" advert. The song samples lyrics from the song "Sunshowers" by M.I.A. Gurung, who cites Rye Rye as his muse, wanted the artist to showcase his work "in a way that highlighted its bright and graphic elements".

"Bad Girls" is a song by British recording artist M.I.A. from her fourth studio album Matangi (2013). The song was written by Maya "M.I.A." Arulpragasam, Marcella Araica and Floyd Nathaniel "Danja" Hills, and produced by Danja. The song was M.I.A's first release following her departure from the UK's XL Recordings in 2011, and was released through Interscope Records in the US on 31 January 2012. A shorter version of the song appeared on Vicki Leekx, a mixtape released for free online on 31 December 2010. "Bad Girls" was released as a digital download a day after its world premiere on radio and online.
