Sunstorm is the self-titled album by the AOR side project of former Rainbow vocalist Joe Lynn Turner.

Joe Lynn Turner is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He is known for his work in the hard rock bands Rainbow, Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Deep Purple. During his career, Turner fronted and played guitar with pop rock band Fandango in the late 1970s; and in the early 1980s, he became a member of Rainbow, fronting the band and writing songs with guitarist, Ritchie Blackmore and bassist, and producer, Roger Glover. After Rainbow had disbanded in March 1984, he pursued a solo career, released one album, Rescue You, and then later did session work, singing background vocals for the likes of Billy Joel, Cher, and Michael Bolton. On the advice of Bolton, Turner began recording jingles for radio and television. Other songs he had composed or through collaboration with songwriters like Desmond Child and Jack Ponti were being recorded and released by international recording artists Jimmy Barnes, Lee Aaron, and Bonfire. Turner had a short-lived association with neoclassical metal guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen and then Deep Purple. From the mid-1990s, he resumed his solo career, releasing an additional nine studio and two live recordings. Turner did other session work, appearing as lead vocalist on tribute albums and working on projects involving various musical groups including progressive rock band Mother's Army; Bulgarian hard rock band Brazen Abbot; funk rock duo Hughes Turner Project; and classic rock/ progressive rock band Rated X. In 2006, Frontiers Records approached Turner to become involved with the AOR side project Sunstorm. By 2016, four albums under the Sunstorm name had been released. That same year, Turner released The Sessions via Cleopatra Records featuring a veritable who's who of classic rock royalty as guest musicians, before resuming his seemingly constant touring schedule back in Europe.

Red Voodoo is really an extension of the party atmosphere that permeated Hagar's concerts on that tour and this album has that whimsical party vibe. Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits package released by American country music artist Bryan White. It was released in 2000 on Asylum Records. The album includes ten of his greatest hits from his first three studio albums: his 1994 self-titled debut, 1996's Between Now and Forever and 1997's The Right Place, as well as "From This Moment On", his 1998 duet with Shania Twain. Two new tracks, "How Long" and "The Way You Look at Me", are also included. The former was released as a single, peaking at #56 on the country charts in 2000.
Hurry Up And Wait is the 4th solo album by Joe Lynn Turner released in 1998. According to Turner, there were supposed to be two tracks on the album featuring Doogie White, 'Too Much is Not Enough' and 'Freedom's Wings', but the latter didn't make the album. Also, 'Too Much Is Not Enough' was first recorded for the unreleased follow-up of Rescue You. Afterwards, Joe recorded it with Deep Purple for the Slaves and Masters album. The song was also recorded by Paul Rodgers and Kenney Jones band The Law but it was never released. Original JLT version can be found in the bootleg "Demos '88 - 91' and The Law version can be found in "The Law II" bootleg. 'Freedom's Wings' was later recorded on Holy Man.
Fandango was an American pop rock band which began as a four-piece, playing in the local clubs in the Tri-state area: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut before adding three more members prior to their first recording contract being signed in March 1977. It was fronted by vocalist Joe Lynn Turner. Larry Dawson, one of the band's keyboardists, would later play for Uli Jon Roth.
House of Dreams is the second album by the AOR side project of former Rainbow vocalist Joe Lynn Turner under the name Sunstorm. It was released by Frontiers Records in Europe on April 17, 2009. The album was then released in Japan with the exclusive bonus track "Standing in the Fire" on June 24, 2009.
Emotional Fire is the third album from Sunstorm, an AOR project formed by former Rainbow singer Joe Lynn Turner and featuring members of German rock band Pink Cream 69. On Emotional Fire, Turner pays tribute to his 1980's sessions as a backing vocalist for the likes of Michael Bolton and Cher. The album was released on February 28, 2012 by Frontiers Records.

This is the first album with Italian multi-instrumentalist Alessandro Del Vecchio on producing, songwriting and keyboards and Italian musicians Simone Mularoni (DGM) on guitars, Nik Marzucchoni (Labyrith) on bass guitar and Francesco Jovino on drums.
