Joe Lynn Turner is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He is known for his work in the hard rock bands Rainbow, Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Deep Purple.
Slaves and Masters is the thirteenth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, and was released on 23 October 1990. This is the only Deep Purple album to feature former Rainbow lead vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, who had joined the previous year after the firing of Ian Gillan. Before hiring Turner, the band had considered singer Jimi Jamison of Survivor, but other obligations made him unavailable.

Sunstorm is an American AOR musical project, originally featuring lead vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, bassist/vocalist Dennis Ward, keyboardist Jochen Weyer, as well as guitarist Uwe Reitenauer and drummer Chris Schmidt, both members of the band Pink Cream 69. The albums also featured artists such as Dann Huff and Jim Peterik as additional songwriters. The first album called Sunstorm was released in 2006, followed in 2009 by their second album House of Dreams. Emotional Fire is the third release, out in 2012.
Hurry Up And Wait is the 4th solo album by Joe Lynn Turner released in 1998. According to Turner, there were supposed to be two tracks on the album featuring Doogie White, 'Too Much is Not Enough' and 'Freedom's Wings', but the latter didn't make the album. Also, 'Too Much Is Not Enough' was first recorded for the unreleased follow-up of Rescue You. Afterwards, Joe recorded it with Deep Purple for the Slaves and Masters album. The song was also recorded by Paul Rodgers and Kenney Jones band The Law but it was never released. Original JLT version can be found in the bootleg "Demos '88 - 91' and The Law version can be found in "The Law II" bootleg. 'Freedom's Wings' was later recorded on Holy Man.

Alessandro Del Vecchio is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known for his collaborations with hard rock and heavy metal artists such as Jørn Lande, Revolution Saints, Hardline, Fergie Frederiksen, Ted Poley, Kelly Keeling and Mat Sinner, and for his work as the in-house producer for Neapolitan record label Frontiers Music SRL from his personal Ivorytears Music Works Studio located just north of Milan.

This is the first album with Italian multi-instrumentalist Alessandro Del Vecchio on producing, songwriting and keyboards and Italian musicians Simone Mularoni (DGM) on guitars, Nik Marzucchoni (Labyrith) on bass guitar and the only one to feature Francesco Jovino on drums.
