Airtel Super Singer 2, the second season of the music competition reality show Airtel Super Singer, premiered on 7 July 2008. Episodes were telecasted on Star Vijay between Monday and Wednesday. Judges for the show were Sujatha Mohan, P. Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Chinmayi was the host of the show until January 2009 and was followed by Malini Yugendran (Hayma Malini) and Yugendran Vasudevan Nair. The voice trainer was Ananth Vaidyanathan. [1] [2]
The Grand Finale was held on 3 June 2009 at YMCA Royapettah, Chennai. At the finals, Ajeesh won the competition. Ravi and Renu took the second and third positions respectively. Ajeesh was chosen by Yuvan Shankar Raja to sing the song Idhu Varai for the Tamil movie, Goa. The audio for the movie for released in December 2009. [3]

Yuvan Shankar Raja is an Indian Composer and Singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films along with few Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu which included mixed EDM and jazz. He is frequently referred to as the "BGM King" and the "Young Maestro" of Tamil Film Music. Yuvan has won two Filmfare Awards South, five Mirchi Music Awards South, three Vijay Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
Harris Jayaraj is an Indian composer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He composes soundtracks predominantly for Tamil films, while also having composed for a few films in Telugu and two films in Hindi.
Ramesh Khanna is an Indian actor and film director who has worked in Tamil cinema. He has acted in a number of supporting and comedian roles.

Kannamoochi Yenada? is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by V. Priya. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sandhya, Sathyaraj and Raadhika Sarathkumar and Sripriya, Radha Ravi and Manobala in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film, a remake of the 2005 American film Guess Who, which itself is based on the 1967 American film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, was jointly produced and distributed by Raadan Media Works, UTV, and Pyramid Saimira. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman and editing by Sathish Suriya. It released on 8 November 2007 during Deepavali. The film's title was inspired from a song from Kandukondain Kandukondain.

Yuvan – Live in Concert is a concert by Indian musician Yuvan Shankar Raja. The concert, Yuvan's second in his career, took place on Pongal, 16 January 2011 at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai. Following the announcement, popular Tamil television STAR Vijay agreed to collaborate, sponsoring, organising and marketing the concert, while airing a special television series about Yuvan Shankar Raja, with family members and prominent celebrities closely associated to him participating, besides producing a promotional music video, titled "I'll be there for you". The five-hour show, which was attended by 20,000 people, including several noted film personalities, was received very positively and considered a highly successful event. The concert was aired on 11 and 12 February, Friday and Saturday at 2000 hrs on Vijay TV.
