Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria – often abbreviated as MBGN – is a pageant organised by Silverbird Group with the main purpose of sending representatives to international competitions. Originally known as Miss Universe Nigeria, it was renamed Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria after news publishers Daily Times lost their license to send delegates from rival contest Miss Nigeria to Miss World. Since 2005, the pageant has produced multiple representatives, but the MBGN World recipient is considered the overall winner.

Isabella Rodríguez Guzmán is a Venezuelan TV host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2018. She represented the state of Portuguesa at the pageant and represented Venezuela at the Miss World 2019 competition where she placed as Top 40.
Miss Supranational 2022 was the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, held on 15 July 2022, at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Chanique Rabe of Namibia crowned Lalela Mswane of South Africa at the end of the event. This edition marked the first back to back win for contestants from Africa, and the first Black woman who won Miss Supranational.
Miss Trans Global is an annual international pageant for transgender women. It claims to be the biggest international advocacy pageant for transgender women. The event broadcasts live on multiple social networking websites from London, England. It has gained traction for transgender advocacy, as well as raising awareness about queer culture and LGBT concerns, particularly in countries where transphobia and homophobia are prevalent. The pageant presents itself as a safe space for transgender women to share their lived experiences through speeches, talent shows, and art.

Miss International 2023 will be the 61st Miss International pageant to be held at the Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on October 26, 2023. Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Grand Costa Rica 2022 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Costa Rica beauty pageant, held at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in San José on July 7, 2022. Twelve contestants, chosen to participate directly through the national casting held by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, competed for the title, of whom a 28-year-old model from Guanacaste, Brenda Muñoz, was named the winner. She then represented Costa Rica in the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant held on October 25 in Indonesia, but got a non-placement.
Miss Grand Brazil 2023 was the fifth edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, originally programmed to be held on June 29, 2023, at Hotel Sibara Flat & Conventions in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, but was later rescheduled to June 10 and the venue was moved to Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort, Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná.
Miss Grand Nigeria was a Nigerian female beauty pageant founded in 2015 by a Lagos-based event organizer chaired by Loveth Ajufoh, QLA Nigeria. The winners of the contest, which was held individually twice, represented Nigeria at its parent competition, Miss Grand International. Previously, the contest's license belonged to AMC Productions, the organizer of the Miss Earth Nigeria pageant, before being transferred to QLA Nigeria Limited in 2015, and to 001 Entertainment, the organizer of another national pageant, The Nigerian Queen, in 2020.
