For example, Windows NT for consumers, Windows Server for servers, and Windows IoT for embedded systems. Defunct Windows families include Windows 9x, Windows Mobile, and Windows Phone.

A laptop computer or notebook computer, also known as a laptop or notebook for short, is a small, portable personal computer (PC). Netbooks were sold from 2007 until around 2013, when the widespread advent of smartphones eclipsed their popularity. Netbooks generally had lower-end hardware specifications than consumer laptops of the time, being primarily intended as clients for Internet services.
