Trinity College is a federated college of the University of Toronto. The college was founded in 1851 by Bishop John Strachan. Strachan originally intended Trinity as a university of strong Anglican alignment, after the University of Toronto severed its ties with the Church of England. After five decades as an independent institution, Trinity joined the university in 1904 as a member of its collegiate federation.
Frederick Donald Coggan, Baron Coggan, was the 101st Archbishop of Canterbury from 1974 to 1980. As Archbishop of Canterbury, he "revived morale within the Church of England, opened a dialogue with Rome and supported women's ordination". He had previously been successively the Bishop of Bradford and the Archbishop of York.

Wycliffe College is an evangelical graduate school of theology of the University of Toronto. The Diocese of Niagara is one of thirty regional divisions in the Anglican Church of Canada. The see city of the diocese is Hamilton, with the bishop's cathedra located at Christ's Church Cathedral on James Street North. Located within the ecclesiastical province of Ontario, it borders the Dioceses of Huron and Toronto. The area enclosed by the Diocese of Niagara includes much of the Golden Horseshoe, and moves north to include Erin and Orangeville as far as Shelburne. Moving sharply south, the boundary includes Mount Forest and widens, south-westerly to include Elora and Guelph. Skirting Brantford and the Territory of the Six Nations Confederacy, the line then travels, again, south-westerly to Jarvis and Lake Erie to include the entire Niagara Peninsula. Major urban centres within its borders are St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, Guelph, Oakville, Milton, Burlington, and Orangeville.
The Diocese of Toronto is an administrative division of the Anglican Church of Canada covering the central part of southern Ontario. It was founded in 1839 and is the oldest of the seven dioceses comprising the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. It has the most members of any Anglican diocese in Canada. It is also one of the biggest Anglican dioceses in the Americas in terms of numbers of parishioners, clergy and parishes. As of 2018, the diocese has around 230 congregations and ministries in 183 parishes, with approximately 54,000 Anglicans identified on parish rolls.
Victoria Matthews is a Canadian Anglican bishop. From 2008 until 2018, she served as Bishop of Christchurch in the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia. In 1994, she became the first woman ordained bishop in the Anglican Church of Canada when she was made a suffragan bishop of the Diocese of Toronto. She then served as the Bishop of Edmonton from 1997 to 2007.
Colin Robert Johnson is the former Anglican archbishop of Toronto and Moosonee, and he served as Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario from 2009 to 2018. He was the 11th Bishop of Toronto, the largest diocese in the Anglican Church of Canada.

He was interim bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes, in the Anglican Church in North America, since March 2020 to February 2021.

David Edwards is the tenth Anglican Bishop of Fredericton, Canada. He was elected coadjutor bishop at a synod in Fredericton on 10 May 2014 and, subsequently, installed as diocesan bishop on September 20, 2014. He succeeded the ninth Bishop, the Most Reverend Claude Miller, who retired on 23 June 2014. He was elected Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada and assumed that position on 1 August 2020.
Melissa Maxine Skelton is the current provisional bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. She was previously the 9th Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster, a diocese in the Anglican Church of Canada, and was the 12th Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and Yukon. She was the first woman to be elected a metropolitan and archbishop in Anglican Church of Canada. Skelton was succeeded in her ministry as Bishop of New Westminster by John Stephens on February 28, 2021.
Edward Campion Acheson was sixth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, serving as suffragan from 1915 to 1926; and coadjutor from 1926 to 1928. He was diocesan bishop from 1928 to 1934.
Linda Carol Nicholls is a Canadian Anglican bishop who served as Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada from 2019 until her retirement in 2024. She was previously Bishop of Huron from 2016 to 2019 and a suffragan bishop in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto from 2008 to 2016. She is the first woman to head the Anglican Church of Canada and the second female primate in the Anglican Communion.
George Robinson Sumner is the seventh and current bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. He had served previously as principal of Wycliffe College, Toronto.
Jennifer Ann Andison is a Canadian Anglican cleric. She was suffragan bishop of the York-Credit Valley episcopal area in the Diocese of Toronto from 2017 to 2021. She is currently the incumbent of St. Paul's, Bloor Street, the largest Anglican church in Toronto.
Andrew Asbil is a Canadian Anglican clergyman who has served as 12th bishop of Toronto since January 2019, succeeding Colin Johnson. His father, Walter Asbil, was Bishop of Niagara from 1991 to 1997.
