Susovan Sonu Roy [a] (born July 19, 1994, in Howrah, West Bengal) is an Indian actor. He appeared in television series like Mohor (2020), Kora Pakhi (2020), and Khelaghor (2021).
Susovan was born on 19 July 1994. He hails from Howrah [1] and was raised in places such as Guwahati and Kolkata. He was listed in the Dum Dum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya school, a part of the West Bengal State University, Calcutta, India. [2]
On graduating from the university in 2017, he picked up a dancing career. As an actor, he began being featured in television series in West Bengal from 2019. His earliest appearance was in the mythological series, Anandamoyee Maa, an Aakash Aath channel serial, directed by Debidas Bhattacharya where he played the role of Vaisnav Bhakta. [3] His following starring was in the film series, Mohor , where he played the student, aired on Star Jalsha from 2019 and Disney+ Hotstar. His roles were negative in this series. In the soap opera, Kora Pakhi , aired on Star Jalsha from 2020 and Disney+ Hotstar, he played the role of a reporter in 90 episodes. He then starred in Jamuna Dhaki , a romance drama series aired between 2020 and 2022, first shown on Zee Bangla, and subsequently in ZEE5. Here, he played the role of a neighbour. [4] He was also starred in another Jalsha channel series, Titli . In 2020, he featured in Khelaghor . [5]
