Suspicion is a 2024 Nigerian action-thriller film directed by Tosin Igho. Starring Stan Nze, Uzor Arukwe, Omowunmi Dada, Tina Mba, Shaffy Bello and others. [1] [2] The film was released theatrically to Amazon Prime Video on 28 November 2024, serving as a sequel to the original release - The Suspicious Guy in 2008, [3] Suspicion tells the story of a simple man (born into the black magic world) on the haunt for vengeance following the murder of his best friend and her daughter, his journey is met with betrayal from people he trusted the most. [4]
Suspicion tells the story of Voke, a simple man who witnesses his goddaughter (daughter to his bestfriend), Lolu abducted, several attempts to save Lolu proved abortive, after sometime they discovered Lolu's lifeless body with her eyes removed, this got Voke really angry and he sought for vengeance, by visiting his mother who is into black magic and occultic practices, Voke soon uses the black magic powers to uncover series of murder leading to his investigation into the death of Lolu, as he gets close to finding answers, he becomes a target to an assassin group, leading up to betrayal from the people he trusted.
