College of the Canyons (COC) is a public community college in Santa Clarita, California. It comprises the Santa Clarita Community College District. The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and has campus locations in Valencia and Canyon Country.
"Harry" Winston Jerome was a Canadian track and field sprinter and physical education teacher. He won a bronze medal at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo and set a total of seven world records over the course of his career.

It is one of the three public high schools in West Vancouver. The school has two campuses, a North Campus and a South Campus. Each campus has its own gym and a cafeteria. The school has 2 grass fields and a gravel baseball diamond. The main field has a running track around it. The main field is used for all sports, such as soccer, football, and rugby union.

In 2007, Fraser Institute ranked the school well within the top 50 secondary schools in British Columbia out of the 279 public and private secondary schools operating in the province. The campus encompasses an area of three city blocks by two city blocks.
Templeton Secondary School is a public secondary school located in the Grandview-Woodland neighbourhood on the East Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its student teams won the SmartAsk competition in 2004, the junior Reach For The Top provincial championships in 2015 and finished 3rd at the senior provincial Reach For The Top championships in 2017. The team ranked 6th at the 2017 National tournament. It has also won many awards for drama productions and for student films. Templeton is known for its successful theatre and film programs—named "Theatre Temp" and "Dream Big Productions" respectively—both founded by Jim Crescenzo and each regarded as among the best in British Columbia. It has a well-regarded STEM program.
Hugh McRoberts Secondary School, officially École Secondaire Hugh McRoberts Secondary School, is a Canadian public school in Richmond, British Columbia and is a part of School District 38 Richmond. It is one of the two schools in Richmond that offer the French Immersion Secondary School program. McRoberts is situated at Garden City Road and Williams Road. The school logo and mascot is a "Striker", which is depicted as a mounted knight carrying a lance or a claymore. The logo had previously been a shamrock.

Handsworth Secondary School is a high school in the district of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and part of School District 44 North Vancouver. As of September 2023, the school reported 1,487 students enrolled in Grades 8–12, the largest school in the North Vancouver School District. On January 15, 2018, it was announced that construction of a new school to replace the existing 57 year old building was expected to start in 2019. The construction was delayed and started in March 2020. The new school began operation on February 7, 2022.

John Oliver Secondary School is a public secondary school located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street. It is named after John Oliver, the Premier of British Columbia from 1918 to 1927. The school is composed of four main segments: the main building containing the bulk of the learning areas, including the Auditorium and Learning Commons; a wooden building affectionately nicknamed "The Barn", due to its appearance, which is closed but was previously used by the mini school and Digital Immersion students; a Drama Studio which allows for several theatre and acting courses; and a concrete building — the engineering building — bisected by a breezeway, with automotive, metal, and wood shops.

Charles H. McCann Technical School is a technical school located in North Adams, Massachusetts, United States that serves grades 9-12. It serves the Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional School District made up of the City of North Adams, and the towns of Adams, Williamstown, Cheshire, Lanesborough, Clarksburg, Florida, Savoy, and Monroe, with tuition-based students coming from various other towns. In the high school, during the 2014-2015 school year, McCann had an enrollment of 500 students. McCann also provides a Post Secondary program.

Valerie Jerome is an African-Canadian retired Track and Field sprinter, educator, and political activist. She competed in the women's 100 metres at the 1960 Summer Olympics. She finished third in the 1959 Pan American Games 4 × 100 metres relay. Jerome also finished seventh in the 1959 Pan American Games long jump. Jerome is the only Canadian athlete to compete in five track and field events in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, or Pan-American Games. She is the sister of Harry Jerome and the granddaughter of John "Army" Howard.
