Sven Martin Skagestad (born 13 January 1995) is a Norwegian athlete specialising in the discus throw. [1] He won the bronze medal at the 2014 World Junior Championships.

His personal best in the event is 65.20 metres set in Wiesbaden in 2016.

Sven Hannawald is a German former ski jumper. Having competed from 1992 to 2004, his career highlight was winning the 2002 Four Hills Tournament, on that occasion becoming the first athlete to win all four events of said tournament. He also finished runner-up twice in the World Cup season, winning four medals at the Ski Jumping World Championships, as well as three medals each at the Winter Olympics and Ski Flying World Championships.

Sven Ottke is a German former professional boxer who competed from 1997 to 2004. He was a unified super-middleweight world champion, having held the IBF title from 1998 to 2004, and the WBA (Unified) title from 2003 to 2004. With 21 successful title defences, Ottke was the fourth European boxer to retire as an undefeated world champion, after Jack McAuliffe, Terry Marsh, and Michael Loewe; Joe Calzaghe later became the fifth. Ottke defended the title against 20 boxers, a record in the super-middleweight division shared with Joe Calzaghe. As an amateur, Ottke won a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the 1989 World Championships.

Sven Väth is a German DJ and electronic music producer. He is a three-time DJ Awards winner, and his career in electronic music spans over 30 years. The single "Electrica Salsa" with OFF launched his career in 1986. Referred to as "Papa Sven" by his fans, Sven Väth has made his mark in the music community by being one of Germany's pop stars in the nineties, running two night clubs in Germany, and starting his own company Cocoon, which encompasses a booking agency, record label, and a branch for events. He is recognized for cultivating the underground electronic music scene not just in Germany but in Ibiza as well, with his own night at Amnesia for eighteen years and after-parties at creative locations around the island. Consisting of Martin Bell and Johnny Spurling, they formed in the 1990s and are best known for the single, "Sven, Sven, Sven", which reached number seven in the UK Singles Chart in October 2001.They also had a hit with Goldenballs and appeared on Top of the Pops on both occasions. Romerike Folk High School is a freelance folk high school at Jessheim in Akershus. The school has approximately 105 students and is owned by Viken county. Romerike has cultivated one discipline, theater and music.
