The Swiss Alpine Ski Championships (German : Schweizer Alpine Skimeisterschaften) are the national championships in alpine skiing, organised every year by the Swiss Ski Federation. [1] [2]
Ski mountaineering is a skiing discipline that involves climbing mountains either on skis or carrying them, depending on the steepness of the ascent, and then descending on skis. There are two major categories of equipment used, free-heel Telemark skis and skis based on Alpine skis, where the heel is free for ascents, but is fixed during descent. The discipline may be practiced recreationally or as a competitive sport.

Corinne Rey-Bellet was a Swiss alpine skier. Rey-Bellet shared a World Championship silver medal in the downhill event in St. Moritz in 2003 and won a total of five World Cup races. Her "double win" at St. Anton am Arlberg on 16 January 1999 is the only double win in the women's Alpine World Cup. She retired in 2003 due to a series of injuries sustained to her right knee. On 30 April 2006, 10 days after separating from her husband, he shot her dead.

Luca De Aliprandini is an Italian World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in giant slalom. Born in Cles, Trentino, he competed for Italy at the 2014 Winter Olympics in alpine skiing, and again in 2018. At his second World Championships in 2021 at Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, De Aliprandini won the silver medal in the giant slalom. Ten months later, he gained his first World Cup podium, runner-up in giant slalom at Alta Badia.
Kaspar Flütsch is a Swiss alpine snowboarder. He represented his nation Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and has achieved numerous top ten finishes in alpine snowboarding at the FIS World Cup series. Since his illustrious sporting career began at eleven, Flütsch continues to train for Panys Ski Club under his personal coach Franco Giovanoli.
