Justin Murisier (born 8 January 1992) is a Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer who competes in giant slalom, super-G and downhill. Earlier, he also competed in slalom.
Born in Martigny, Valais, Murisier has competed at three Winter Olympics [1] and five World Championships. His first World Cup podium came in December 2020 at Alta Badia, Italy, and his first win came in December 2024 in the downhill at Beaver Creek, Colorado, USA.
Murisier's father is a cousin of alpine ski racer William Besse (b.1968). [2]

Franz Klammer is a former champion alpine ski racer from Austria. Klammer dominated the downhill event for four consecutive World Cup seasons (1975–78). He was the gold medalist at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, winning the downhill at Patscherkofel by a margin of 0.33 seconds with a time of 1:45.73. He won 25 World Cup downhills, including four on the Hahnenkamm at Kitzbühel. He also holds the record for the most victories (four) on the full course at Kitzbühel.
Tina Maze is a retired Slovenian World Cup alpine ski racer. She is the most successful Slovenian ski racer in history with a career that culminated with two gold medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Maze was awarded the title of the Slovenian Sportswoman of the Year in 2005, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015, and with her four medals she is the most decorated Slovenian athlete at the Winter Olympics.
Marlies Raich is a retired Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer. She specializes in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom. Schild won four Olympic medals, with silvers in the combined (2006) and slalom and a bronze in slalom (2006). She has seven World Championship medals and has won five World Cup season titles.

William Besse is a Swiss former alpine skier. He took four wins and 13 podiums in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, all of them in the downhill discipline, including winning the Lauberhorn downhill in Wengen in 1994. He retired from competition in 1999, in part because he struggled to adapt to the introduction of carving skis in the mid-1990s. After retiring from competition, he became a ski instructor in Verbier, and also worked as an analyst for Télévision Suisse Romande and Radio Télévision Suisse's coverage of alpine skiing, until he was let go after the 2014-15 season.
Christina Weirather is a retired Liechtensteiner World Cup alpine ski racer. She won a bronze medal in Super-G for Liechtenstein at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Beat Feuz is a Swiss former World Cup alpine ski racer, specializing in the speed events of downhill and super-G. He is 2017 World champion and 2022 Olympic champion in downhill. In 2021, he won consecutive downhills on the famed Streif at Kitzbühel.

The men's overall in the 2025 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup is scheduled to consist of 38 events in four disciplines: downhill (DH), super-G (SG), giant slalom (GS), and slalom (SL). After cancellations in both of the prior two seasons, the two downhills scheduled on the Matterhorn in mid-November were removed from the schedule. Thus, for the third straight season, only the four major disciplines will be contested on the World Cup circuit.
