They are best known for their 1985 single "Tarzan Boy" and are often considered a one-hit wonder in the United Kingdom and the United States. In other European countries, including their native Italy, Baltimora scored a follow-up hit "Woody Boogie" the same year.

A megamix is a remix containing multiple songs in rapid succession. It often features various artists. There may be only one verse or even just a brief chorus of each song used, sometimes in addition to samples of the same or other songs. It is common to use different samples to maintain and sometimes even ridicule the original. To unify the songs together smoothly, a single backing beat may be added as background throughout the megamix, although this is not a must. This backing beat is kept basic so as to simplify mixing and to not compete with the music. These mixes are usually several minutes long at minimum, going up to a half-hour or an hour, or even more sometimes.

"All Of Me (Boy Oh Boy)" is a song by Italian singer Sabrina, released in Italy in July 1988 by Metronome as the first single from her second album, Super Sabrina (1988). It was also her fifth international single. Written and produced by Stock Aitken & Waterman, it followed her previous single "Hot Girl" in Europe, while it was her second single release in the United Kingdom, following "Boys (Summertime Love)". Entering the charts in mid-summer 1988, the single became Sabrina's third major European hit. It followed Sabrina's two previous singles into the top ten or top 20 in several European countries, and reached the top 30 of the UK Singles Chart.

"American Boy” is a song by British singer and rapper Estelle featuring American rapper Kanye West from the former's second studio album Shine (2008). The song was written by the artists, alongside Ethan Hendrickson, will.i.am, John Legend, Josh Lopez, Caleb Speir, and Keith Harris. It was produced by will.i.am, and uses the instrumental from "Impatient" from his own third studio album Songs About Girls (2007). "American Boy" is a breezy R&B and disco-funk song that lyrically describes a romance with an American suitor. The song's conception came after Legend, Estelle's mentor, suggested she write a song about meeting a man from the United States.
"Keep On Jumpin'" is a song written by musician Patrick Adams and Ken Morris. This track has been remade, remixed, and sampled numerous times, but only the 1978 original by Adams's group Musique and Todd Terry's 1996 updated version with Martha Wash & Jocelyn Brown reached number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play charts. Two Man Sound was a Belgian pop trio of the 1970s. Their style combined the disco music typical of the era with samba and bossa nova. Their signature hits were 1975 "Charlie Brown" and a Latin track called "Disco Samba", released in 1977. "Charlie Brown" was a success in Belgium and Italy. The medley of Brazilian pop songs "Disco Samba" became a huge European hit in the early 1980s, with repeated hit-listings in euro-charts from 1983 through 1986 as well as the official Reza family song. Always in 1977, on the US Dance chart, the single "Capital Tropical" was the most successful of two entries peaking at #11. In 1979, another samba song "Que Tal America" became an "underground disco anthem" in North America.

Tom Hooker or Thomas Barbéy is an American singer and fine art photographer. He was the voice and one of the songwriters behind most songs for popular Italo disco artist Den Harrow. The 2018 documentary Dons of Disco covers Hooker's involvement in the Den Harrow project.
"Against All Odds" is a collaborative single, recorded by British musicians and production team Chase & Status featuring vocals from British rapper Kano. The single was released on 23 February 2009 as the second single from Chase & Status' debut studio album, More Than Alot. "Against All Odds" contains samples from the 1967 song "Dead End Street" by Lou Rawls and a drum sample from "Apache" by Incredible Bongo Band. The music video for the track features Kano and Chase & Status in an underground nightclub in London.

The song has become a staple of Christmas music in the United States and Japan.
