The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Stephen Gregory Yzerman is a Canadian-American former professional ice hockey player currently serving as executive vice president and general manager of the Detroit Red Wings, with whom he spent all 22 seasons of his NHL playing career. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, he is a Detroit sports icon and a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. After his retirement as a player, he served in the front office of the Red Wings, and then as general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning, while also being executive director for Team Canada in two Olympics.
At the 1908 Summer Olympics, a field hockey tournament was contested for the first time. Six teams entered the tournament: England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany and France. England won the gold medal, Ireland the silver and Scotland and Wales were awarded bronze medals. All the medals were subsequently credited to Great Britain.

Christine Girard is a Canadian weightlifter from Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. She competes in the 63 kg division. Girard was the first Canadian female to win a medal in weightlifting when she won gold at the 2012 London Olympics. She also won Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games titles in her weight class and has won multiple medals in each of those competitions. She holds the Commonwealth games record and the Pan-American Games record in the Clean and Jerk.
Shea Joseph McAleese is a New Zealand field hockey player who competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Olympics. He was part of the New Zealand team that won the bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Samuel Girard is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League (NHL). After playing major junior hockey with the Shawinigan Cataractes, Girard was drafted 47th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He briefly played for the Predators until he was traded to the Avalanche in 2017. Girard won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022.

Marc Bouet is a sailor from France, who represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain as helmsman in the Soling. With crew members Fabrice Levet and Alain Pointet they took the 15th place. Marc with crew members Gildas Morvan and Sylvain Chtounder took 11th place during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Savannah, United States as helmsman in the Soling.
