Panshak Henry Zamani, better known as Ice Prince Zamani or just Ice Prince, is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after releasing "Oleku", one of Nigeria's most remixed songs of all time. He won the 2009 Hennessy Artistry Club Tour. His debut studio album Everybody Loves Ice Prince was released in 2011. It was supported by three singles: "Oleku", "Superstar" and "Juju". In 2013, Ice Prince released Fire of Zamani as his second studio album. The album contained the singles "Aboki", "More", "Gimme Dat" and "I Swear". On 1 July 2015, Ice Prince was announced as the vice president of Chocolate City. He held the position until he left the label in 2016. He has collaborated with top African rappers like Navio of Uganda, Khaligraph Jones of Kenya, AKA of South Africa, Sarkodie of Ghana among others.

Due to the variety of musical genres. he can perform in, Sarkodie is referred to as a "multifaceted rapper" and frequently raps in his native language, Twi.

Efya rose to fame after participating in the first edition of Stars of the Future. Beginning in 2011, she won four consecutive Ghana Music Awards for Best Female Vocal Performance. Moreover, she was applauded for her performance at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Ayo is the self-titled second studio album by Nigerian singer Wizkid. It was released on 17 September 2014, by Starboy Entertainment and Empire Mates Entertainment. Ayo was postponed twice due to difficulty in track selection. Preceding its release were the singles "Jaiye Jaiye", "On Top Your Matter", "One Question", "Joy", "Bombay" and "Show You the Money". The album also contains the song "Ojuelegba", which won Song of the Year and was nominated for Best Pop Single at The Headies 2015. Wizkid enlisted Sarz, Shizzi, Uhuru, Del B, Dokta Frabz, Maleek Berry, Legendury Beatz and Spellz to produce the album. MzVee was signed to the record label Lynx Entertainment and was the winner of the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. She parted ways with Lynx Entertainment in the year 2019. She is currently a solo artist.

The 2016 Ghana Music Awards was the 17th edition of the Ghana Music Awards which was held on May 7, 2016, at the Accra International Conference Center in Accra, Ghana and was hosted by Chris Attoh, DJ Black and Naa Ashorkor. E.L was the biggest winner at the event, taking home a total of five awards including the coveted 'Artiste of the Year' with Sarkodie and Bisa Kdei won four awards each. These musicians, alongside Stonebwoy, Efya, R2Bees, Wizkid, Joe Mettle and Adomaa, performed at the event.
Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is the pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties.
