TV6 is a Lithuanian terrestrial, satellite and cable television channel owned by the media company TV3 Group. It was launched on March 31, 2002 (as Tango TV).
TV6 focuses on entertainment and occasional but high-profile sports broadcasts (like the UEFA Champions League), comedy, sitcoms, action, science fiction and reality programmes from Russia are popular fixtures.
TV6, as with other channels of the All Media Baltics group in the Baltic states, switched to HD broadcasting on 26 July 2018. [1]
TV3 is the brand name used by Viasat's flagship channels in Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Hungary, and Finland. Viasat is part of the Swedish media company Modern Times Group. The first TV3 channel was launched on New Year's Eve 1987, breaking the monopoly on broadcasting in the Scandinavian languages.

In April 1996, Danish ZTV was closed down along with Sportskanalen, and TV6 was replaced by a new channel called 3+. In the beginning, 3+ time-shared with TVG in the mornings, ZTV in the afternoon and Sportskanalen in the weekend, but eventually these channels closed down.
