Taival (translation: Journey) is the eighth studio album by Finnish band Stam1na, released on 12 October 2018. Just like with the previous album, it was produced by Janne Joutsenniemi and mixed by Jens Bogren. [1] It debuted at number one on The Official Finnish Charts.

Stam1na promoted the album with a tour of Finland, called the Haloo Lemi tour, from October to December 2018.

Background

On 5 September 2018, the band published the track listing and shared the cover art. Before releasing the album, they released three singles: "Elämänlanka" on 16 May 2018, [2] "Enkelinmurskain" on 7 September, and "Gaian lapsi" on 11 October. The band's lyricist Antti Hyyrynen described the album as "wander[ing] through the big topics of a human's life" and speaking "of the unachievable nature of life". [3]

Stone (band) Finnish Band

Stone reunited to play a final set of concerts in 2000, but parted ways again soon afterwards. In 2008, Stone made five "re-union"/comeback appearances. They reunited again in March 2013 for select shows in order to promote their new box set. The band has remained active since then, and they have new material in the works.

Stam1na is a Finnish heavy metal musical group native of Lemi, South Karelia, Finland. Their music is arguably best described as thrash metal with some progressive metal, death, alternative and punk influences, and is sung in the Finnish language. The band mainly uses seven-string guitars on all albums except the first one where they used six-strings, and a few songs were composed for eight string guitar on the eighth album Taival.

"Pelasta maailma" is the first single from the CMX album Rautakantele. It also appears on the compilation album Cloaca Maxima. The chorus contains a quote from a poem by L. Onerva. "Pelasta maailma" means "Save the World" in Finnish.

It had a comeback in 1998 with a number of changes in the line-up. The band is signed to Sakara Records, and for distribution Sony.

Dominique is the second studio album by the Finnish indie rock band NEØV, released on February 20, 2015 on Fullsteam Records. The album received highly positive reviews. Dominique produced four singles: "Laketown", "The Rain People", "Dominique I" and "Woolen Pumpkin Shirt".

Orange Morning is the first studio album by the Finnish indie rock band NEØV, released on February 8, 2013 on Fullsteam Records to a much critical acclaim.

<i>Elokuutio</i> 2016 studio album by Stam1na

Elokuutio is the seventh studio album by Finnish progressive metal band Stam1na. It was produced by Janne Joutsenniemi and mixed by Jens Bogren. The album's title Elokuutio can mean eloquence, but can also be translated as "living cube". Lyricist Antti Hyyrynen describes the album's theme as the "digital hell of the unreligious".

Daniel Lioneye

Daniel Lioneye is a Finnish alternative metal band, formed by members of the band HIM. Originally consisting of guitarist and vocalist Mikko "Linde" Lindström, bassist Mikko "Mige" Paananen, and drummer Ville Valo, the group released their debut album The King of Rock 'n Roll in 2001, the title-track of which was later used as the theme to Bam Margera's Viva La Bam TV series.
