The Tajikistan women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Tajikistan in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they hosted Afghanistan in July 2012 in Shahrinaw District in a three match series [1] which they won one and lost two. [2]

List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. List A cricket includes One Day International (ODI) matches and various domestic competitions in which the number of overs in an innings per team ranges from forty to sixty, as well as some international matches involving nations who have not achieved official ODI status. Together with first-class and Twenty20 cricket, List A is one of the three major forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In November 2021, the ICC retrospectively applied List A status to women's cricket, aligning it with the men's game.
The Afghanistan national football team is the national football team of Afghanistan and is controlled by the Afghanistan Football Federation. Founded in 1922, they played their first international game against India in Kabul, 1941. Afghanistan then joined FIFA in 1948 and the AFC in 1954, as one of the founding members. They play their home games at the Ghazi National Olympic Stadium in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. In 2013, Afghanistan won the 2013 SAFF Championship and earned the "FIFA Fair Play Award".

Cricket has been played in Afghanistan since the mid-19th century, but it was only in the early 21st century that the national team began to enjoy success. The Afghanistan Cricket Board was formed in 1995 and became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001 and a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in 2003. After nearly a decade of playing international cricket, on 22 June 2017, at an ICC meeting in London, full ICC Membership was granted to Afghanistan. Alongside Ireland, this took the number of Test cricket playing nations to twelve. It is the first country to ever achieve Full Member status after holding Affiliate Membership of the ICC.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board is the official governing body of cricket in the Afghanistan. It is Afghanistan's representative at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and was an associate member of ICC from June 2013 until becoming a full member in June 2017. Before that it was an affiliate member and has been a member of that body since 2001. It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council.
Asadullah Khan is an Afghan former cricketer. Khan is a right-handed batsman and right arm medium-pace bowler. He has previously represented the Afghanistan national cricket team.

Nitin Narendra Menon is an Indian cricketer and umpire. He was a right-handed batsman, representing Madhya Pradesh in List A cricket. He is now an umpire and has stood in matches in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy and the Sheffield Shield in Australia. In June 2020, he was promoted to the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, replacing Nigel Llong. His father Narendra Menon was also an umpire.

In franchise leagues, he plays for Ahmedabad franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Adelaide Strikers in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL), Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Band-e-Amir Dragons in Afghanistan. He bowls right-arm leg spin and bats right-handed.

The Afghanistan A cricket team is a national cricket team representing Afghanistan. It is the 'second-tier' of international Afghan cricket, below the full Afghanistan national cricket team. Matches played by Afghanistan A are not considered to be One Day Internationals, instead receiving List A classification. Their first match was against the Tajikistan national cricket team in December 2013. In 2017, they played a five-match series against the Zimbabwe A cricket team in Zimbabwe.
