Tali Lennox Fruchtmann [2] (born 9 February 1993 [3] ) is a British Israeli model and artist, [4] [5] formerly the brand promotional face for Topshop and Burberry and appeared in Deadman's Barstool (2018), The Street Kids Project and the first season of Britain's Next Top Model (2005). [6] As of 2014, she reduced her modelling focus and became a portrait painter. [7] She is the daughter of Scottish singer Annie Lennox and Israeli record producer Uri Fruchtmann, and sister of Lola Lennox. [8]

Career

In spring 2011, she appeared in various fashion houses, including Acne Studios, Christopher Kane, Prada and Miu Miu. In September 2012, she moved to New York City, where she took acting classes in the winter of 2013 with Susan Batson as her teacher. [5]

Personal life

Lennox's longtime boyfriend was American artist and model Ian Jones. [9] On 8 August 2015, Lennox and Jones were kayaking on the Hudson River in the US when their dual kayak capsized. Lennox was rescued by strangers on a passing boat, but Jones could not be found. After a two-day search, [2] Jones' body was found. [10] [11] His cause of death was found to be accidental and "consistent with drowning." [11] Jones's funeral was held on 17 August in his home state of Pennsylvania and attended by Tali, her mother Annie and her sister Lola. [12]

"Sing" is a song recorded by Scottish singer Annie Lennox for her fourth solo studio album, Songs of Mass Destruction (2007). It was released as the second single from the album on 1 December 2007 by RCA Records. Lennox was inspired to write the track after seeing South African activist Zackie Achmat at Nelson Mandela's 46664 HIV/AIDS concert. She wanted the track to be a source of empowerment for people without a voice of their own. It also gave rise to her SING Campaign which aimed to raise funds and awareness for issues surrounding HIV/AIDS. "Sing" was produced by Glen Ballard and interpolates the South African tune "Jikelele"; the music was given to Lennox by an activist group called The Generics.
