Tamara Kaszala (born 29 November 1975) is a Hungarian short track speed skater. She competed in the women's 500 metres event at the 1992 Winter Olympics. [1]

Irina Natanovna Press was a multitalented Soviet athlete who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics. In 1960 she won a gold medal in the 80 m hurdles and finished fourth in the 4 × 100 m relay. Tamara McKinney is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from the United States. She won four World Cup season titles, most notably the 1983 overall, the last American woman title holder for a quarter century, until Lindsey Vonn in 2008. McKinney's other three season titles were in giant slalom and slalom (1984). She was a world champion in the combined event in 1989, her final year of competition. Her half-brother Steve McKinney was a record holding speed skier.

Tamara Larrea Peraza is a female beach volleyball player from Cuba, who won the gold medal in the women's beach team competition at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, partnering Dalixia Fernández. Alexander Vlassov is a former Soviet pair skater who currently works as a coach. With partner Irina Vorobieva, he won the silver medal at the 1977 World Figure Skating Championships and the silver medal at the 1977 European Figure Skating Championships. They placed 4th at the 1976 Winter Olympics. They were coached by Tamara Moskvina. He later skated with Zhanna Ilina.

Carlos José Tamara Paternina is a Colombian professional boxer, who participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics. There he was defeated in the second round by Italy's Alfonso Pinto in the Light Flyweight (48 kg) division. A year earlier he won the silver medal at the Pan American Games.

Tamara Csipes is a Hungarian sprint kayaker who has competed since the late 2000s. At the 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poznań, she won two gold medals earning them in the K-2 1000 m and K-4 500 m events. In 2015 Csipes was suspended for four months after she failed a drug test.

Tamara Petrovna Danilova is a Russian discus thrower who won the European title in 1969. She placed fifth at the 1971 European Championships and fourth at the 1972 Summer Olympics, both times losing to the world record holder Faina Melnik. In the Olympic final Danilova set a new Olympic record at 62.64 m, surpassing the record of Argentina Menis set in the qualifying round two days earlier. Her record was beaten two throws later by Menis, and then by Melnyk.
