Tan Sui Hoon (born 5 December 1963) is a former Malaysian badminton player. [1] Tan won a bronze medal at the 1991 Asian championship in Mixed doubles and a bronze in Asian cup competition. [2] In 1992 she medalled in both the doubles competition in Asian championship. [3] She won a total of seven medals at the Southeast Asian games, which constitute one in 1987 and three medals in 1989 and 1991 respectively. She represented Malaysia in 1990 Commonwealth games and contested bronze medal fight in Women's doubles event with her partner Lim Siew Choon, against Denyse Julien and Johanne Falardeau of Canada. They eventually lost 13–18, 2–15 and settled for fourth position. Tan represented her country twice in World championships in 1989 and 1991.

Ashwini Ponnappa Machimanda is an Indian badminton player who represents the country at the international badminton circuit in both the women's and mixed doubles disciplines. She had a successful partnership with Jwala Gutta as the pair has won many medals in international events including a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and bronze medals at the Uber Cup and the Asian Badminton Championships. They were consistently ranked among the top 20 in the BWF World Ranking reaching as high as no. 10. Ponnappa and Gutta also won the bronze medal at the BWF World Championships in 2011, becoming the first Indian pair and women and only the second overall to win a medal at the World Championships.

Tan Wee Kiong is a Malaysian badminton player in the doubles event. He is well-known for his former partnership with Goh V Shem, which began at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Tan and Goh won the gold medal in the men's doubles and the mixed team event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. They also won bronze at the 2014 Asian Games. In their Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics, they won the silver medal, becoming the first Malaysian pair to achieve such a feat since 1996. In November 2016, they reached a career-high ranking of world number 1, making them the fourth ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to do so, after Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock, Chan Chong Ming and Chew Choon Eng, and Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong.

Goh V Shem is a Malaysian badminton player in the doubles event. He was partnered with Tan Wee Kiong after their outstanding performance at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Goh and Tan won the gold medal for the men's doubles event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games as well as all their matches in the mixed team event, helping Malaysia retain the gold medal for the third consecutive time. They also won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games and the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, thus making them the second ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to win the silver medal at the Olympic Games 20 years after the feat was achieved by Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock in 1996 Atlanta. Goh and Tan are also the fourth Malaysian men's doubles pair to hold the world number 1 ranking after Cheah and Yap followed by Chan Chong Ming and Chew Choon Eng, and later on by Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong ever since official rankings were kept in the 80s.

Jessica Tan Wei Han is a Singaporean badminton player. Together with Terry Hee, they won their first BWF World Tour title as a duo at the 2022 India Open. Tan along with Hee also won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, a first for Singapore in that discipline at the Games. Jessica Tan and her husband Terry Hee were nominated for the Straits Times Singaporean of the Year Award 2022.

Joanne Quay Swee Ling is a Malaysian former badminton player. Quay was the gold medalist at the 1998 World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Chan Chong Ming. She and Chan also won the silver medal in Asian Junior Championships. She was part of the national team that won the women's team silver medal at the 1998 Commonwelath Games. Quay left the Badminton Association of Malaysia in 2004 and joined the Kuala Lumpur Racquet Club (KLRC). She then went on to study at the Leeds Metropolitan University majoring in sports business management. As a Leeds Met Carnegie, she took part in badminton competition, and at the 2009 BUCS Championships, she won double titles in the women's and mixed doubles event. Quay now works as BAM’s high performance manager.

Norhasikin Amin is a former Malaysian badminton player. She was part of the national team that won the women's team silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. Amin had collected five medals at the Southeast Asian Games, a silver in the mixed doubles event in 1999, a bronze in the women's doubles in 2001, also another three bronzes in the women's team in 1997, 1999 and 2001.

Tan Lee Wai is a former Malaysian badminton player. At the 1989 South east Asian games, Tan won bronze medal in doubles and women's team event. In 1991 and 1993 Southeast Asian Games, Tan won 3 bronze medals respectively at each games. At the Asian championship in 1992, she won bronze in doubles with Tan Sui Hoon. In 1994 she won bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games and in Asian Cup with Lee Wai Leng. She also represented her country twice in World championships in two disciplines.

Lee Wai Leng is a former Malaysian badminton player. Lee was the bronze medalist at the Commonwealth games with Tan Lee Wai, and she won Mixed team silver medal also where she played singles and doubles in final but Malaysia lost to England. Lee also got a bronze in 1994 Asian Games, with Yap Kim Hock in mixed doubles event, becoming the first ever Malaysian pair to medal in badminton at this discipline at the Asian Games. Lee has also won a total of five medals at the Southeast Asian Games, which includes her three at 1989 edition and rest at 1993. She had also represented her country in the World Championship between 1989 and 1993.
