Tapan Deb Singha is an Indian politician from West Bengal belonging to All India Trinamool Congress. He is a former member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
Singha graduated from Kolkata University in 1991. [1] He was elected as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Kaliaganj on 28 November 2019. [2] [3] [4] This was the first win for any All India Trinamool Congress candidate from Kaliaganj. [5] [6]

Members of the Legislative assembly are directly elected by the people. The legislative assembly comprises 294 Members of Legislative Assembly,all directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is five years,unless sooner dissolved.
