Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf, John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin ; they have since gone through several lineup changes, leaving Wyndorf as the only constant member. Monster Magnet has released ten studio albums to date, and they are best known for their 1990s hits "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" and "Space Lord". The band has also been credited for developing and popularizing the stoner rock genre, along with Masters of Reality, Kyuss, Fu Manchu and Sleep.

After underperforming, McKee was dropped by her label and took a musical hiatus before establishing herself as a songwriter. McKee has written 10 singles that have reached number one in either the United States or the United Kingdom, which have sold more than 30 million copies worldwide combined. In 2013, McKee made a return to music with a slew of singles, including "American Girl". She would later independently release an EP, Bombastic (2015).

In 2011, Anderson's collaborative album with Jon Hopkins, Diamond Mine, was nominated for the Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year Award. Astronaut Meets Appleman was also longlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year Award.

Oval-Teen was an indie pop band from the town of Yorkville, Illinois. Started in 1994 as a songwriting outlet for Bradley Davis, Chad Lynd and Joseph Chellino. Influenced by the sounds of punk and Teenage Fanclub their early three-chord pop expanded as their playing and songwriting improved and expanded to include new wave and Bubblegum. The band began releasing cassettes and EPs on their own Debris label, and attracted the attention of other self-run small labels around the country and Japan who also released some of their recordings. In 1999, the band recorded their only full-length album, A Million Shades of Oval-teen, for MOC Records but financial problems at the label delayed its release until 2001. The group broke up in 1999 when Bradley Davis relocated to Toronto following his marriage. Posthumous recordings surfaced slowly on Toronto's My Mean Magpie label and a double CD collection of stray tracks was released on Bi-Fi Records in 2004. Brad continues to release records as Lake Holiday (band), Joseph denies any responsibility for records under the names Jonas Crenshaw and Power Craig, Jeremiah keeps busy as a member of Paper Airplane Pilots and generally being tall. Chad lives with his dogs and releases albums with The Bloody Knife Killers, The Tiger Springs and The Sky Lovelies.
Weewerk, stylized as (weewerk), is an independent folk, roots, bluegrass, country record label and artist-management company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 2002 as an art-and-music salon series in the apartment of Teenage USA Recordings partner Phil Klygo and artist-curator Germaine Koh. Klygo was Festival Director of Canadian Music Week from 2001 to 2007.

HitClips is a digital audio player created by Tiger Electronics that plays low-fidelity mono one-minute clips of usually teen pop hits from exchangeable cartridges. It first launched in August 2000 with 60-second microchip songs featuring Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Sugar Ray. The following year songs by Destiny's Child, Backstreet Boys, Dream, and Pink were additionally released. There is a version for young children called KidClips. Tiger Electronics had licensing agreements for HitClips with popular major record labels including Atlantic Records, Jive Records, Zomba Label Group, and Capitol Records. HitClips was first promoted by McDonald's, Radio Disney, and Lunchables. By June 2002, HitClips players and music disks combined had sold more than 20 million units.
Ice Age: Continental Drift is a 2012 American computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is the sequel to Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) and the fourth instalment in the Ice Age film series. The film was directed by Steve Martino and Michael Thurmeier. The plot focuses on Scrat mistakenly sending Manny, Sid, and Diego adrift on an iceberg with Sid's Granny and causing them to face a gang of pirates led by Captain Gutt on Earth.
