The Bharat Rashtra Samithi, formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi, is an Indian political party which is predominantly active in the state of Telangana and currently the primary opposition party in the state. It was founded on 27 April 2001 by K. Chandrashekar Rao, with a single-point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. It has been instrumental in carrying forth a sustained agitation for the granting of statehood to Telangana.

Dr. Thatikonda Rajaiah is an Indian politician and medical practitioner. He has been serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Station Ghanpur assembly constituency since the year 2009, representing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. In his political journey, Rajaiah started as a member of the Indian National Congress but later joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party to support the separate Telangana state movement. He was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana state with the Department of Health and Family Welfare on 2 June 2014 along with Md. Mohamood Ali.

With the police beating up many peaceful Telangana agitators and Telangana people committing suicide for the formation of a separate Telangana state- all real life incidents. It also shows how politicians from seemandhra region have manipulated and bribed the media often.
Hussain Sagar is a heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometres (2.2 sq mi) and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates the city centre of Hyderabad from the neighbourhood of Secunderabad. The maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet (9.8 m).

Telangana Day, commonly known as Telangana Formation Day, is a state public holiday in the Indian state of Telangana, commemorating the formation of the state of Telangana. It is observed annually on 2 June since 2014. Telangana Day is commonly associated with parades and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history and traditions of Telangana. The state celebrates the occasion with formal events across the districts. The formal event of national flag hoisting by the Chief Minister of Telangana and the ceremonial parade is held at the parade grounds. Celebrations are held in all 33 districts of the state.

Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu was an Indian Army officer and the commanding officer of 16 Bihar Regiment. He was killed in action (KIA) during the 2020 China–India skirmishes, the first Indian Armed Forces commissioned officer since 1967 and among the first Indian soldiers to have been KIA against the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) since 1975. He was posthumously decorated with India's second-highest wartime gallantry award, the Maha Vir Chakra.

Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project (PRLIP) is an irrigation project in the state of Telangana, India. The project aims to make 12.3 lakh acres of parched lands in erstwhile combined Mahabubnagar district into fertile lands. The project is built on the Krishna river at a cost of ₹ 35,000 crore in Nagarkurnool district. On 16 September 2023, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao operationalised the first phase of Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme at Yellur-Narlapur pump house in Nagarkurnool district. The project will change the future of six districts viz, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Vikarabad in South Telangana.
