Telenet Shooting Collection is a compilation of shoot 'em up games developed by the now-defunct studio Telenet Japan and published by Edia for the Nintendo Switch. It was released on June 8, 2023, in Japan.
Telenet Shooting Collection compiles four high-definition ports of shoot 'em up games developed by Telenet Japan: Granada (1990), Gaiares (1990), Avenger (1990), and Psychic Storm (1992). The ports of Granada and Gaiares are based on the Sega Genesis versions of the games while the ports of Avenger and Psychic Storm use the PC Engine versions of the games. Each game will have additional features such as new "Sound Modes", a new "Visual Mode", a rewind feature, and other added features and updates.
In 2020, Edia bought the rights to Telenet Japan's intellectual properties from City Connection. [1] They then proceeded to release two collections of games from the Valis series on Nintendo Switch. On November 17, 2022, Edia launched a website featuring characters and the ship from Gaiares with a tagline of "New Project begins" on November 22, 2022. [2] On November 22, 2022, the game was officially announced with the motto of "Welcome to Shooters Heaven!" as the first game in Edia's "Telenet Revival Project" to support the "Re;Birth of Beautiful Retro Games". [3] A crowdfunding campaign was announced the same day on Makuake seeking to raise three million yen (roughly $21,160) to cover the game's development and marketing. [4] On January 22, 2023, the game was officially slated for a release on June 8, 2023, in Japan. A special edition was also revealed which would include an original figure of the "Storm Bringer" ship from Psychic Storm. [5]
Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei refers to two distinct role-playing video games based on a trilogy of science fantasy novels by Japanese author Aya Nishitani. One version was developed by Atlus and published by Namco in 1987 for the Famicom—Atlus would go on to create further games in the Megami Tensei franchise. A separate version for personal computers was developed and published by Telenet Japan with assistance from Atlus during the same year.

Telenet Japan Co., Ltd. was a Japanese video game and software developer founded in October 1983 by Kazuyuki Fukushima. The company had several video game divisions including: Wolf Team, Laser Soft, Renovation Game, Renovation Products, Riot, Commseed, and Telenet Jr. Telenet Japan's North American subsidiary, Renovation Products, was acquired by Sega of America in 1993. With debt of ¥1 billion, the company ceased operating in late September 2007 and closed its doors on October 25. Sunsoft acquired Telenet's entire software library in December 2009, citing plans to remake or re-release the old titles. The Japanese company Edia acquired Telenet's catalogue from City Connection in January 2020.

Valis: The Fantasm Soldier is a 1986 action-platform video game originally developed by Wolf Team and published by Telenet Japan for the MSX, PC-8801, X1, FM-7, and PC-9801 home computers. It is the first entry in the Valis series. It stars Yuko Asou, a Japanese teenage schoolgirl chosen as the Valis warrior and wielder of the mystical Valis sword to protect the Earth, the land of spirits, and the dream world Vecanti from demon lord Rogles. Throughout the journey, the player explores and search for items and power-ups, while fighting enemies and defeating bosses to increase Yuko's attributes.
Valis III is a 1990 action-platform video game originally developed by Laser Soft, published by Telenet Japan and NEC for the TurboGrafx-CD. A Sega Genesis version was released in 1991. It is the third entry in the Valis series. It stars Yuko Asou, a Japanese teenage schoolgirl chosen as the Valis warrior and wielder of the mystical Valis sword after the events of Valis II. King Glames, wielder of the sword Leethus, leads denizens of the dark world to conquer both Vecanti and Earth, seeking refuge for his people amid the destruction of their planet. Together with the demon warrior-maiden Cham and her sister Valna, Yuko must prevent Glames from destroying both worlds. Through the journey, the player explores and searches for items and power-ups while fighting enemies and defeating bosses.

A home computer version was released for PC-8801, MSX2, PC-9801 and X68000. A super deformed-style remake was also released in 1992 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It is the second entry in the eponymous series. It stars Yuko Asou, a Japanese schoolgirl teenager chosen to become the Valis warrior by wielding the titular mystical sword, after defeating the demon lord Rogles. The dream world Vecanti fell under the rule of emperor Megas, whose hatred towards his brother Rogles and bloodthirsty tendencies seeks to wipe out traces of the former tyrant, including his supporters. Gameplay varies between each version but all share similar elements, as the player explores and search for items and power-ups, while fighting enemies and defeat bosses.

Two of Ganbarion's major clients are Bandai Namco Entertainment and Nintendo. The Wing of Madoola is a 1986 action-platform video game developed and published by Sunsoft for the Family Computer. It stars Lucia, a magic-wielding warrior of the Rameru clan. Darutos, a descendant of the Rameru line, found the Wing of Madoola statue and used it to build a demonic fortress and summon demons to conquer the world. Lucia must retrieve the statue and stop Darutos. Throughout the journey, the player explores and search for items and power-ups to increase Lucia's attributes, while fighting enemies and defeating bosses.
Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams is a scrolling shooter video game developed by Success and originally released in Japanese arcades in 1991. The first installment in the Cotton series, players assume the role of the young witch Cotton who, alongside her fairy companion Silk, sets out on her broomstick on a quest to defeat several monsters and get her Willow candy. Its gameplay mainly consists of shooting mixed with role-playing game elements using a main two-button configuration. It ran on the Sega System 16 hardware.

Drainus is a 2022 scrolling shooter video game developed by Team Ladybug, co-published by Playism and WSS Playground for Microsoft Windows. A Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to be released. It follows Irina, daughter of an ill slave from planet Halpax under rule of the Kharlal empire led by general Izumo, joined by the humanoid soldier Ghenie on a journey to save her father by stealing a starfighter and overthrow the empire to prevent a galactic war. Controlling the titular fighter ship, the player must fight waves of enemies and bosses, while avoiding collision with their projectiles and other obstacles. The Drainus ship is equipped with a "reflector" that absorbs enemy shots for a brief time period to launch counterattacks and its functions can be enhanced via energy tanks.
