Terrence Deyalsingh is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the People's National Movement. He was MP for St. Joseph in the House of Representatives from 2013 until 2025. [1] He was minister of health under Prime Ministers Keith Rowley and Stuart Young. [2] He was a senator from 2010 to 2013. [3]
Deyalsingh was health minister during the COVID-19 pandemic in Trinidad and Tobago. [4] He was involved in the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. [5] During this time he appeared on The Daily Show, and commented on the controversy involving singer Nicki Minaj. [6] [7] [8] in September 2024, he was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in his constituency. [9]
He was unseated in Aranguez/St Joseph in the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election by UNC candidate Devesh Maharaj. [10]
