Fotsis was inducted into the Greek Basket League Hall of Fame in 2022.

He played the point guard position, and was a member of the senior Argentina national basketball team that won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Prigioni is the oldest rookie in NBA history, making his debut with the New York Knicks in 2012 at age 35, prior to which he was a two-time All-EuroLeague selection playing in Europe, most notably Spain. He played four seasons in the NBA for the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and the Los Angeles Clippers, before starting coaching in 2017.

Green was selected by the Houston Rockets with the second overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft. He is the third player in the NBA of Filipino descent, following Raymond Townsend and Jordan Clarkson.

He was selected in the 16th pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA draft.
