McLennan County is a county located on the Edwards Plateau in Central Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 234,906. Its county seat is Waco. The U.S. census 2017 county population estimate is 251,259. The county is named for Neil McLennan, an early settler.

Parkview High School is a public high school located near Lilburn in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. It is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. Since its opening in 1976, Parkview has won numerous awards and state championships, both in academics and athletics. The school has had an ongoing rivalry with neighboring Brookwood High School since the 1990s. Parkview offers several AP courses and has a large number of gifted students. The current principal is David T. Smith.
Parkview Baptist School (PBS) is a private K-12 Christian school located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States.
Parkview High School is a public high school located in Springfield, Missouri. Part of Springfield Public Schools, it was the second high school to have been built in Springfield, after Central High School. Parkview graduated its first class in 1957. The following year, a new wing was constructed due to the large number students enrolling. In 1992, an auditorium was added to Parkview for its music and drama productions. In 2001, a new music room was finished and renovations to other classrooms were completed. The most recent changes to Parkview have been the demolition of the old north wing and adding a new wing to replace it. It was completed and occupied in January 2006. It was formally dedicated on September 21, 2006. Phase two of the addition was completed at the beginning of the 2008-09 school year. The second addition included a new library media center, cafeteria and kitchen, and many classrooms; the old library and cafeteria were converted to classrooms as well. Over 90% of the building is new or renovated construction since the completion of the two-phase, 20 million dollar project in November 2008. A formal dedication ceremony for Phase II was held on September 18, 2008.
Alexander James Moore Academy was a magnet high school in the Waco ISD district in Waco, TX. A.J. Moore was designed to prepare students for success in post secondary education and in the workplace. Students were prepared to excel academically, physically and socially. Special emphasis was placed on business, engineering, entrepreneurship, technology, and post-secondary education. In February 2012, the Waco Independent School District decided in part, avoiding a $3.4 million budget shortfall, to close and consolidate A. J. Moore Academy with University High School. On June 2, 2012, A.J. Moore Academy gave diplomas to its last graduating class. A. J. Moore Academy existed as a stand-alone school for 14 years.

The Baylor–TCU football rivalry, also referred to as The Revivalry, is an American college football rivalry between the Baylor Bears and TCU Horned Frogs. The first game of the 113-game series was played in 1899, making the rivalry one of the oldest and most played in FBS college football.
The Barrow Grammar Schools were two adjacent single-sex education schools in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, England during the 20th century. Both schools merged in 1979 to form the co-educational Parkview Community College of Technology. Parkview School itself was merged in 2012 with Thorncliffe School and Alfred Barrow School to form Furness Academy. Parkview School and all elements of the former Grammar Schools were demolished in 2014 with a new school building for Furness Academy being constructed in the playing fields of Parkview.
