U.S. Route 80 or U.S. Highway 80 (US 80) is a major east-west United States Numbered Highway in the Southern United States, much of which was once part of the early auto trail known as the Dixie Overland Highway. As the "0" in the route number indicates, it was originally a cross-country route, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Its original western terminus was at Historic US 101 in San Diego, California. However, the entire segment west of Dallas, Texas, has been decommissioned in favor of various Interstate Highways and state highways. Currently, the highway's western terminus is at an interchange with Interstate 30 (I-30) on the Dallas–Mesquite, Texas city line. Its eastern terminus is in Tybee Island, Georgia near the Atlantic Ocean. Between Jonesville, Texas and Kewanee, Mississippi, US 80 runs parallel to or concurrently with Interstate 20. It also currently runs through Dallas, Texas; Shreveport, Louisiana; Jackson, Mississippi; Montgomery, Alabama; Columbus, Georgia; Macon, Georgia; Danville, Georgia; Dublin, Georgia; and Savannah, Georgia.
U.S. Route 271 is a north–south United States highway. Never a long highway, it went from bi-state route to a tri-state route. Its southern terminus is in Tyler, Texas, at an intersection with State Highway 31 and SH 155. The highway's northern terminus is in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at an intersection with Business U.S. Route 71 and Highway 255. It enters Arkansas from Oklahoma as a controlled-access highway, but the highway continues as Interstate 540 when US 271 exits toward downtown after one-half mile (800 m) in Arkansas.
State Highway 11 is a highway that runs from US 59 in Linden to SH 56 in Sherman in northeast Texas.

State Highway 65 (SH 65) is a Texas state route that runs for 15.495 miles (24.937 km) within Chambers County, from near Anahuac to Stowell. This route was designated on December 30, 1961, replacing a portion of SH 73 identified as SH 73-T.
State Highway 135 is a Texas state highway that runs from Jacksonville to near Gladewater in east Texas (USA). The route was designated on June 22, 1928 from Troup to the Rusk County Line. On March 19, 1930, it extended to Gladewater, replacing SH 15A. On October 27, 1953, an extension to Jacksonville along FM 347 was signed. On February 20, 1963, SH 135 was rerouted concurrent with SH 42, with the old route being transferred to FM 918 and Spur 378. The extension to Jacksonville was made official on August 29, 1990, completing its current route and cancelling this section of FM 347.
Loop 271 is a state highway loop in Alanreed, Texas.
The following routes - special routes, state highway loops, and Interstate business loops - exist or existed parallel to U.S. Highway 87 in the U.S. state of Texas, mostly along a former alignment.
All of the business loops within Texas are maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Interstate 20 has fifteen business loops in the state, all located in western Texas. Along I-20, TxDOT identifies each business route as Business Interstate 20 followed by an alphabetic suffix. Along Texas Interstates, the alphabetic suffixes on business route names ascend eastward and northward. There are gaps in the alphabetic values to allow for future system expansion. The alphabetic naming suffixes are included as small letters on the bottom of route shields.
