The Thailand men's national floorball team is the national floorball team of Thailand and is organized by Floorball Thailand which is under the care of the Thailand Hockey Association. [1] [2]

Contents

They are the winners of the inaugural Asia-Oceania Floorball Cup defeating Singapore in the final of the 2017 edition. [3] Their biggest success on World Floorball Championship is 13th place in 2020.

It is recognized by the IOC and is an ordinary member of the ARISF.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sweden men's national floorball team</span>

The Sweden men's national floorball team is the national floorball team of Sweden, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. It has won ten out of 14 men's world championships. Its dominance has decreased somewhat though – in 1996 the overall goal difference was 83–3, while ten years later, the team suffered its first draw in the tournament versus Switzerland, and needed sudden victory to defeat Finland in the final. In 2008, Finland defeated Sweden in overtime, giving Sweden its first loss in the World Floorball Championships. This loss happened in the final match, and therefore Sweden did not retain their 12-year title as world floorball champions. In 2012, Sweden defeated Finland and won the title for the first time in six years.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Champions Cup (floorball)</span> Football tournament

The Champions Cup is floorball tournament organized by the International Floorball Federation for the best clubs from the top four countries according to IFF World Ranking. Since 2019, those are Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, both for men and women. The tournament culminates every year in January both for men's and women's teams, that won in the previous season in their national league and cup competitions. The leagues are Finnish F-liiga, Swedish Svenska Superligan, Czech men's Superliga florbalu and women's Extraliga žen ve florbale and Swiss Unihockey Prime League. That means, there are eight men's and either women's teams in the tournament in total.

Fajar Alfian is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with the SGS PLN Bandung. He won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games, the bronze medals at the 2017 SEA Games, 2019 and 2022 World Championships. He was part of the Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. He reached a career high of world number 1 in the men's doubles with Muhammad Rian Ardianto on 27 December 2022.

Known for his smash, especially his backhand smash, physical agility, speed, and reflexes, he is regarded as one of the best players in the men's singles category in the current generation. He was the men's singles gold medalist at the 2019 SEA Games and won his first BWF Super 1000 title at the 2021 All England Open. Lee is the 2022 men's singles Asian champion, winning the title at the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships.

The 2017 Men's Asia-Oceania Floorball Cup was a continental floorball tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand from 1–6 July 2017. It was held at the Chanatrayingyong Gymnasium of the Chulalongkorn University. Eight national floorball teams participated in the tournament.

Thailand competed in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States from 7 to 17 July 2022. The games were originally scheduled for July 2021, but were postponed due to the rescheduling of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Athletes representing Thailand won four gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals. The country finished in 18th place in the medal table.

Thailand women's national floorball team represents Thailand in international competitions of women's floorball. The team made their debut at the Women's World Floorball Championships in 2017. The team won silver medals at the Southeast Asian Games in 2015 and 2019.
