Thank You for Your Consideration is an album by electronic musician Venetian Snares (Aaron Funk), self-released on September 8, 2015 through Venetian Snares' Bandcamp site. [1]

The album came shortly after Funk had made an appeal to his fans to help him out as he was in "very serious financial trouble". [2] Within 24 hours, Venetian Snares had every top-selling album on Bandcamp. [3] The title of the album, which was released only about two weeks after the appeal, is a reference to its provenance as a thank you for this financial support.

"We're an American Band" is a song by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad, released in 1973 from the band's seventh album of the same name, which became the band's first number one single, released July 2, 1973. It is said to be a follow-up to the 2005 album Rossz Csillag Alatt Született, as hinted by the reappearing Hungarian song titles. Aaron was quoted as saying, "This album has nothing to do with dubstep and very little to do with breakcore." It, like the album it is said to follow, consists largely of classical compositions. However, unlike said album, it features very little in the way of drumbeats, instead focusing on an atmospheric sound made by the classical instruments.

Canadian electronic musician Aaron Funk, better known as Venetian Snares, has released 30 studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, 19 extended plays (EPs), eight singles, four promotional singles, one remix, and one music video. Funk began producing music in 1992 and self-released several cassettes during the 90's. His first official release was the 1999 EP, Greg Hates Car Culture, followed by his first full-length solo album, printf("shiver in eternal darkness/n"); in May 2000.

Greg Hates Car Culture is a breakcore EP released by Venetian Snares in 1999 on Minneapolis-based label History of the Future. It was his first official release and led to him being signed by Planet Mu. Twenty years later, a re-mastered version was re-released with three extra tracks on Timesig, a sublabel of Planet Mu. The tracks were originally made using an Amiga 500 and an effects pedal.
