Traditional Synthesizer Music is the twenty-second studio album by Canadian electronic musician Venetian Snares, announced December 17, 2015, [1] [2] and released February 19, 2016, on Planet Mu records. [3] Unlike other albums by Venetian Snares, this album was composed and live recorded entirely on modular synthesizer equipment. [4]

At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, Traditional Synthesizer Music received an average score of 76% based on 11 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews". [5] AllMusic listed the album as one of their Favorite Electronic Albums of 2016, describing it as "a sharp, thrilling experience, and easily one of Funk's most focused works". [6]

PopMatters placed it at number 52 on the "70 Best Albums of 2016" list. [14]

'Poemss' was released in February 2014 under Planet Mu Records.

Canadian electronic musician Aaron Funk, better known as Venetian Snares, has released 24 studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, 19 extended plays (EPs), eight singles, four promotional singles, one remix, and one music video. Funk began producing music in 1992 and self-released several cassettes during the 90's. He released his first three studio albums in cassette. These albums are Spells and Subvert! both released in 1998, and Rorschach Stuffoacte released in 1999. He released the 1999 EP, Greg Hates Car Culture, followed by his fourth studio album, printf("shiver in eternal darkness/n"); in May 2000.

Greg Hates Car Culture is a breakcore EP released by Venetian Snares in 1999 on Minneapolis-based label History of the Future. It was his first official release and led to him being signed by Planet Mu. Twenty years later, a re-mastered version was re-released with three extra tracks on Timesig, a sublabel of Planet Mu as the twenty-fourth studio album of Venetian Snares. The tracks were originally made using an Amiga 500 and an effects pedal.

Treat Myself is the third major-label studio album by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor. Epic Records released it on January 31, 2020, after delaying it for over a year from its originally scheduled release date. Trainor worked with producers including Mike Sabath, Tyler Johnson, Ojivolta, and Andrew Wells. Initially inspired by pop artists and her experiences with panic disorder, Trainor rewrote the album to adapt to changing trends in the music industry and the rising popularity of hip-hop. It features guest appearances by Sabath, Nicki Minaj, Lennon Stella, Sasha Sloan, the Pussycat Dolls, and AJ Mitchell.
