The Adventures of Seinfeld & Superman is a pair of advertisement films written by Jerry Seinfeld, David Apicella, Christian Charles and Chris Mitton promoting American Express, featuring Seinfeld as himself and Patrick Warburton (who appeared with Seinfeld on the latter's eponymous sitcom as David Puddy) as the voice of Superman. The two films, A Uniform Used to Mean Something... and Hindsight is 20/20, each about five minutes in length, were directed by Barry Levinson. [1] [2] In addition to being released online as "webisodes", they aired on television in 2004. The webisodes promoted American Express as well as showed Seinfeld and Superman as friends, with much of the humor originating from the various situations the two found themselves in. For example, Superman is anticipating hooking up Seinfeld's TV to surround sound, although Superman has super-hearing as Jerry points out.
