Different versions

The Art of War was released in three different versions, a standard edition containing only the CD, a vinyl version and a Limited Edition. The limited contains the full-length CD and the book The Art of War by Sun Tzu. The limited edition comes in a DVD case with alternate artwork. All preorders from the official Sabaton homepage also included the single, Cliffs of Gallipoli. In 2010 The album was re-released with other early Sabaton albums under their new label in a "Re-Armed" version that included several new bonus tracks.

"40:1" became a hit in Poland and Sabaton was asked to perform it on the Polish Independence Day celebration in Gdańsk in 2008. "40:1" is also used as an entrance song by Polish mixed martial artist Damian Grabowski.

The title track was featured in the Sabaton Soundtrack DLC for the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV. [9]

The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise dating from the late Spring and Autumn period. The work, which is attributed to the ancient Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu, is composed of 13 chapters. Each one is devoted to a different set of skills or art related to warfare and how it applies to military strategy and tactics. For almost 1,500 years, it was the lead text in an anthology that was formalized as the Seven Military Classics by Emperor Shenzong of Song in 1080. The Art of War remains the most influential strategy text in East Asian warfare, has influenced both East Asian and Western military theory and thinking, and has found a variety of applications in myriad competitive non-military endeavors across the modern world including espionage, culture, politics, business, and sports.

One Step Beyond is the fourth album from Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It was released in Australia in November 2004 by Metal Warriors and in Japan at the same time by Sound Holic. LMP released the album worldwide in February 2005. Unlike the albums that preceded and followed it, One Step Beyond featured the same artwork and track-listing in all markets where it was released. The Australian version was to contain covers of "Til the Living End" by Dokken and Queen's "The Hero" but Dungeon's German label LMP refused to allow them to issue an alternate edition and the tracks were later made available as downloads. LMP later issued a special edition for the US market that also included the band's self-produced 2004 live DVD.

Heroes is the seventh studio album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton, released on 6 May 2014. The artwork was created by Péter Sallai and the photos by Ryan Garrison. The Last Stand is the eighth studio album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton. It was produced by Peter Tägtgren in the Abyss Studios in Sweden and released on 19 August 2016. Like Sabaton's previous album Heroes, The Last Stand is a concept album and takes inspiration from "last stand" military battles. On 10 June 2016 the first single "The Lost Battalion" was released, followed by "Blood of Bannockburn" on 15 July and "Shiroyama" on 12 August. The Great War is the ninth studio album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton. It was released on 19 July 2019. It is the first studio album to feature guitarist Tommy Johansson. Like many of Sabaton's albums, it is a concept album, this time about World War I, often known as the Great War. The songs cover multiple stories from the war, including those of Manfred von Richthofen, T.E. Lawrence, Alvin York, the Attack of the Dead Men, the Battle of Verdun, and others.

Pär Hulkoff, known by his stage name Hulkoff, is a Swedish musician. His first releases were as the lead singer and guitarist for the industrial metal band Raubtier in 2009, and then country rock group Bourbon Boys. Since 2017 he has been active as a solo artist, making Nordic folk influenced power metal under the name Hulkoff.

Pär Sundström is a Swedish bass player. He and Joakim Brodén are the last remaining founding members of the band Sabaton. He is also the band's manager and one of the band's lyricists.
