The Bahamas Aquatics Federation (BAF) is the governing body of swimming in the Bahamas. They are also responsible for the development of synchronized swimming, diving, water polo, open water swimming. [1] BAF is a member of the International Swimming Organization FINA and Central American and Caribbean Swimming Federation. [2]
The country has four 25-Metre pools and two 25-Yard Outdoor completion pools in Nassau, Bahamas. In May 2000 the Government of Bahamas constructed the Betty Kelly Keening National Swim Complex. The country now owns a 10 Lane 50 Meter Outdoor swimming pool accompanied by 8 -Lane 25 Meter Training pool. [3] [4]

The swimming competitions at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens took place from 14 to 21 August 2004 at the Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre in Marousi. It featured 32 events, a total of 937 swimmers from 152 nations, and the program's changes instituted in the previous Games, including notably the three-phase format for all short-distance races.
The Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre is a complex at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex in Marousi, Athens, Greece, consisting of two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, that was built for the 1991 Mediterranean Games. It was refurbished and expanded for the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Paralympics. The larger of the two outdoor pools, which seats 11,500 spectators, hosted swimming and water polo events. The smaller pool, which hosted synchronized swimming, had the capacity for 5.300 people. The indoor pool also hosted the water polo finals and diving and the swimming during the Paralympics had capacity for another 6.300 persons.
Melbourne Sports Centres - MSAC is an international sporting venue located in Albert Park, Victoria, Australia. The centre was opened on 24 July 1997 at a construction cost of A$65 million. The cost was funded by the State Government of Victoria and the City of Port Phillip. The centre has hosted international events including the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2007 World Aquatics Championships.
Hamad Aquatic Centre is a large swimming pool complex in Doha, Qatar. The centre is housed in the Doha Sports City complex along with other buildings dedicated to sports in Qatar including the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, the Aspire Tower, Khalifa International Stadium, and a training school called Aspire Academy. The 16th FINA World Championships, also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. This was the first time the World Aquatics Championships partially overlaps with the FINA World Masters Championships that have a number of athletes, countries (110) and medals (635) which are the most ever also.

Al-Hamadaniah Olympic Swimming and Diving Complex is a water sports centre in Aleppo, Syria, featuring an outdoor Olympic size swimming and diving pools with a seating capacity of 1,340 spectators. The complex was opened in 2009, as part of the al-Hamadaniah Sports City. The swimming complex has a total area of 12,500 m².
The Aquatic Palace is a sporting venue in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is fully compliant with the requirements of the International Swimming Federation (FINA). The Palace hosted the Baku 2015 European Games and Baku 2017 4th Islamic Solidarity Games.
The swimming competitions at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in Nassau, The Bahamas took place from 19 to 22 July at the Betty Kelly Kenning Swim Complex. A total of 184 athletes from 45 nations contested 35 different events. Each Commonwealth Games Association was allowed to enter up to two swimmers and one relay per event. In the Games, age limits set by the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) for world Junior competitions were followed, according to which the age limit for boys is set to 15–18 years and for girls its 14–17 years of age.
New Clark City Aquatic Center is a swimming and diving venue at the New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac, Philippines. It is one of the venues of the New Clark City Sports Hub, which is part of the National Government Administrative Center. It hosted the aquatics events of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and is set to host the 2023 Asian Swimming Championships.
