The Best Kept Secret is the debut solo album of New Zealand hip-hop artist, Alphrisk, of the Deceptikonz released in 2004. It contained the single Sunshine, which peaked in the New Zealand Singles Chart at number 8. [2]
The Proclaimers are a Scottish rock duo formed in 1983 by twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid. Demetrius C. Savelio, better known by his stage name Savage, is a New Zealand hip hop recording artist, record producer and member of hip hop group the Deceptikonz. Savage was the first New Zealand hip hop artist to have a commercial single achieve platinum certification status in the United States. The "International Breakthrough" accolade of the Pacific Music Awards was created in his honour. Savage also has applied his recognisable voice in the electronic dance music space with 5× platinum hit ''Freaks'' with Timmy Trumpet, and 4 times platinum hit ''Swing'' with Joel Fletcher.

Sunshine is the third studio album by English pop group S Club 7. It was released on 26 November 2001 and features the hit singles "Don't Stop Movin'", "You", "Have You Ever" and "Never Had a Dream Come True"—all bar "You" peaking at number one before the album's release. The album debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart in December 2001, selling more in its first week (136,000) than any of their other albums. It was later certified 2× Platinum after selling over 600,000 copies. Sunshine was the last album that featured Paul Cattermole as he announced his departure from the group in March 2002. The album peaked at number thirteen in New Zealand. The album also charted at number five on the 2001 UK year-end chart. In 2008, it was released in the United States with a remix featuring American rapper Soulja Boy, which reached number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100. The remix featured on Savage's second studio album and US debut, Savage Island, alongside a second remix featuring American rapper Pitbull. The song was also covered by metalcore bands Miss May I and Drop Dead, Gorgeous.

It has signed many New Zealand hip hop and R&B artists such as Savage, Adeaze, Aaradhna, The Deceptikonz, Devolo and Ill Semantics. The founders of Dawn Raid Entertainment announced the closure of the recording label on 19 April 2007 due to liquidation.
