The band's name is derived from a logo on the bass drum of a fictitious band portrayed in the music video for the New Order song "Crystal".

I Am... Yours was the first concert residency by American singer Beyoncé. It was held four consecutive nights in July and August 2009 in support of her third studio album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008). The residency was held at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beyoncé performed over thirty songs backed by an orchestra and her all-female band, the Suga Mamas, to an audience of 1,500. The residency was deemed "an intimate encounter" as Beyoncé portrayed a more raw and uninhibited show versus her previous concert performances. The concept of the shows revolves around Beyoncé's recording career.

The Clydesdale was an indie band from Las Vegas, Nevada who grew prominent in the independent Las Vegas alt country and cowpunk community. Their sound is described by Rolling Stone as "bluegrass rock" fit for "the soundtrack to a western directed by Quentin Tarantino." Their members, who perform dressed in western wear, include Paige Overton and her trademark "ever-evolving beehive" hairdo, Andrew Karasa, a carpenter who builds his own instruments and once cut his middle finger off with a table saw a mere week before performing with the band, Jason Aragon, who co-created Las Vegas' Neon Reverb Music Festival (bass), and Courtney Carroll, who has played in several Las Vegas bands including Venus Diablo and Kid Meets Cougar (drums).
Sunset Sessions is a conference for music industry professionals, established by indie radio promoter Michele Clark in 1998. It features performances from new musical talent and established acts with the intention of exposing executives to new music while connecting with each other and the artists in intimate settings. It is not open to the public. Invited guests include radio programmers, music supervisors from film, television, ads, games and sports, artists, artists’ managers, major and independent record labels, TV bookers, press, booking agents, network executives, influencers, journalists and promotion executives. The conference includes daytime industry panels, keynote speakers and meetings for the industry to discuss current issues. The primary event is usually held in a tropical location and takes place over several days and nights, once or twice per year. There have also been breakout events such as songwriter retreats, South by Southwest showcases, tours, and small showcases.
Ryan Pardey is a musician, singer, songwriter, promoter, tour manager, actor, left-handed guitar player, and DJ from Las Vegas. He is best known as the singer and songwriter for Halloween Town, which has featured members of The Killers, Louis XIV, and The Shys. Pardey is also well known for portraying Santa Claus on A Great Big Sled (2006) and Don't Shoot Me Santa (2007), two Christmas music videos released by The Killers. Pardey appeared as Santa again for The Killers in the two sequel Christmas singles, I Feel It in My Bones (2012) and Dirt Sledding (2015). He also appears in the videos and as illustrations in the artwork for both singles.
