Plot
Spoiled socialite Patricia Huntley gets arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agent Bob Wallace in Arizona after meeting with jewel smuggler Courtney Haybrook four miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. She defiantly smokes, tears up the citation, and claims he manhandled her when taken to the station. However, when he quits after being forced to apologize to her she becomes guilty and convinces her wealthy grandfather Frank Adams to hire him at a new job.
At Bob's advice, Frank hires him as Pat's tutor, teaching her riding and swimming. They initially bond, but she becomes upset after learning of her grandfather's plan. She tries to get drunk to embarrass him, only to find that the hotel staff have been ordered by Bob not to serve her any more drinks. After Pat slaps Bob, he decides to quit and she decides to go south of the border to marry Courtney, who hides a valuable stolen necklace in her purse. At the last moment she decides to not to marry Courtney and leaves with Pat. After they are captured, Bob rescues Pat again and they reconcile.
Wardell Edwin Bond was an American film character actor who appeared in more than 200 films and starred in the NBC television series Wagon Train from 1957 to 1960. Among his best-remembered roles are Bert the cop in Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life (1946) and Captain Clayton in John Ford's The Searchers (1956).
S.T.R.I.P.E. is a superhero in the DC Comics Universe. S.T.R.I.P.E. is a powered armor suit invented and worn by Patrick "Pat" Dugan, the former adult sidekick to teenage superhero Sylvester Pemberton, the Star-Spangled Kid. "Stripesy", as he was originally called, is a gifted mechanic who built the Star Rocket Racer, a bubble-topped limousine with the functions of a rocket and helicopter. Together, they were members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory and the All-Star Squadron. Stripesy was created by Jerry Siegel and Hal Sherman, and first appeared in Star Spangled Comics #1.

George Dewey Wallace was an American stage and screen actor. Wallace co-starred with Mary Martin in the Broadway musical Jennie and was nominated for a New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for playing the male lead in New Girl in Town opposite Gwen Verdon. He is also remembered for playing Commando Cody in the movie serial Radar Men from the Moon.

A lone Creole gunfighter, Jules, burdened by his own past of dealing with racism and prejudices, ends up in a town dealing with its own racist and hypocritical ignominies. Jules attempts to learn the truth about the town's real motives for hiring him, while at the same time reconciling with his own past as he attempts to force the town's white folks to accept their own hypocritical shortcomings in living with their Mexican cohabitants.
