The Coast of Colorado is the debut studio album by American country music artist Skip Ewing. It was released on April 4, 1988, via MCA Records. The album includes the singles "Your Memory Wins Again", "I Don't Have Far to Fall", "Burnin' a Hole in My Heart", "The Gospel According to Luke" and the title track, all of which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
"Don't Mind If I Do" was previously recorded by George Strait on his 1988 album If You Ain't Lovin' You Ain't Livin' . "Lighter Shade of Blue" was covered by Shelby Lynne on her 1991 album Soft Talk and Reba McEntire on her 1993 album It's Your Call . "Autumn's Not That Cold" was covered by Lorrie Morgan on her 1991 album Something in Red . "Still Under the Weather" was covered by Andy Williams on his 1991 album Nashville and Shania Twain on her 1993 self-titled debut album.

John Marty Stuart is an American country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician. Active since 1968, Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band before beginning work as a solo artist in the early 1980s. He is known for his combination of rockabilly, country rock, and bluegrass music influences, his frequent collaborations and cover songs, and his distinctive stage dress.
Honkytonkville is the twenty-second studio album by American country music singer George Strait, released in June 10, 2003 by MCA Nashville. One of only a few albums of his career not to produce a Number One single, the album was certified platinum by the RIAA. It produced the singles "Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa", "Cowboys Like Us" and "Desperately", at #11, #2 and #6 respectively on the country charts. "Honk If You Honky Tonk" also charted at #45 based on unsolicited airplay.
Holding My Own is the twelfth studio album by American country music singer George Strait. It was released by MCA Records and features the singles "Gone as a Girl Can Get" and "So Much Like My Dad", both of which charted in the Top 5 on the country charts, but it became his first album since 1981's Strait Country not to produce a number one hit. McBride & the Ride is an American country music band consisting of Terry McBride, Ray Herndon, and Billy Thomas. The group was founded in 1989 through the assistance of record producer Tony Brown. McBride & the Ride's first three albums — Burnin' Up the Road, the gold-certified Sacred Ground, and Hurry Sundown, released in 1991, 1992, and 1993, respectively — were all issued on MCA Nashville. These albums also produced several hits on the Billboard country charts, including the Top 5 hits "Sacred Ground", "Going Out of My Mind", "Just One Night", and "Love on the Loose, Heart on the Run".
You and You Alone is the eleventh studio album by American country music artist Randy Travis. It was released on April 21, 1998, by DreamWorks Records. It was produced four singles on the Billboard country music charts between 1998 and 1999: "Out of My Bones", "The Hole", "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man", and "Stranger in My Mirror", which peaked at numbers 2, 9, 2 and 16, respectively, on the country charts. Counting his 1993 side project Wind in the Wire, this is also the second of three studio albums of his career not to be produced by longtime producer Kyle Lehning. Instead, Travis co-produced the album with Byron Gallimore and James Stroud.
Haunted Heart is the second studio album by American country music singer Sammy Kershaw, released on March 9, 1993, through Mercury Records. It produced four singles: "She Don't Know She's Beautiful", the title track, "Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer", and "I Can't Reach Her Anymore". "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" was a number-one hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart for Kershaw in 1993, while the other three singles reached the top ten on the same chart. Like his debut album, Haunted Heart was certified platinum by the RIAA. "Cry Cry Darlin'" was previously recorded by several other artists, including Bill Monroe, Hank Williams Jr, and Dolly Parton.
Laredo is the ninth studio album by American country music artist Steve Wariner. His last release for MCA Records, it produced three chart singles on the Billboard country charts: "The Domino Theory" at #7, "Precious Thing" at #8, and "There for Awhile" at #17. After the final single charted, Wariner was dropped from MCA's roster. He later signed to Arista Records in 1991 for the release of his next album, 1991's I Am Ready.
"The Whiskey Ain't Workin'" is a song recorded by American country music artists Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart. It was released in November 1991 as the third single from Tritt's album It's All About to Change. It peaked at number two on the Billboard country music chart in the United States, and at number four on the country singles chart in Canada. The song was written by Stuart and Ronny Scaife.
Tempted is the fifth studio album by American country music artist, Marty Stuart. It was released in January 1991 by MCA Nashville. It peaked at #20 on the Top Country Albums chart. It was certified Gold in the United States and Canada. The songs, "Little Things", "'Til I Found You", "Tempted" and "Burn Me Down" were released as singles and all of them reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. "Tempted" at #5 is the highest charting solo single of his career in the United States, although he would reach #2 in 1992 as a duet partner on Travis Tritt's "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'."
Monongahela is the 14th country studio album by American country music group The Oak Ridge Boys, released in 1988 via MCA Records. The album peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
Nashville is the forty-first studio album by American pop singer Andy Williams, released by Curb Records in 1991.
