AllMusic awarded The Divine Invasion three out of five possible stars. Sonic Boom said "the musical growth exhibited by Electro Assassin within the last several years has been nothing less than astonishing" and "They have forsaken the inane samples and pointless lyrics of previous albums and focused their new work entirely on a dark cyberculture concept which has become immensely popular recently." Cut is the second studio album by C-Tec, released on 15 February 2000 by Synthetic Symphony. On 5 October 2018 the album was reissued as a music download with an additional track titled "Until We Disappear" and written by Marc Heal.
Darker is the debut studio album of C-Tec, released on 1 September 1997 by Synthetic Symphony. The album showcases the band wanting to experiment by integrating different styles and textures into their compositions after the release of their 1995 EP Cyber-Tec. On 5 October 2018 the album was reissued as a music download with an additional track titled "My Unbreakable Code" and written by Marc Heal.
Jonathan Sharp is an electronic body music / industrial musician and professional sound designer from Cumbria, Great Britain, who has released music under the names New Mind, Bio-Tek, Black Rain, and others. He was also a member of Cyber-Tec Project, Hexedene, and Hyperdex-1-Sect.
C-Tec was an EBM band originally formed as a side project in 1995 by Jean-Luc De Meyer, Jonathan Sharp, and Ged Denton. The name was taken from Cyber-Tec Records, who released the band's debut EP. Afterward, Jonathan Sharp left the band, and Marc Heal joined as a full-time member.
Diatribe was an industrial rock group from San Jose, California which was active in the 1990s. They had a sound similar to 16 Volt and Chemlab, integrating synthesizers and vocal samples with more traditional rock instruments. The band's full-length debut Diatribe was released by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records on November 3, 1996.
