The Game podcast is a free to download association football podcast produced by The Times newspaper and co-hosted during the 2018-19 season by Natalie Sawyer and Gabriele Marcotti. [1]
Launched in September 2006 following a pitch by Marcotti and Guillem Balagué, and formerly hosted by Balague, Danny Kelly [2] and Phill Jupitus, [3] the podcast has been described by Barry Glendenning as featuring “some of the most knowledgeable voices in British football journalism”. [4] Episodes were released weekly during the football season but production increased with the introduction of Sawyer and became daily during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and twice weekly from August 2018 to coincide with the start of the 2018-19 football season, becoming available on Mondays and Thursdays. [5] [6] Regular guests include Alyson Rudd, [7] Tony Cascarino, [8] [9] James Scowcroft, [9] [10] Julien Laurens, [11] [9] Jonathan Northcroft, and Henry Winter. [9] [12] Marcotti announced he was leaving The Times at the end of the 2018-19 season.

Guillem Balagué is a Spanish football journalist, author, and pundit. He was a regular pundit on Sky Sports' show Revista de la Liga and has also written for some of Britain's newspapers as well as several Spanish newspapers.

The Football Ramble is a podcast, about association football, produced in London by podcast production company Stak. Originally provided fortnightly, this was increased to a weekly show at the beginning of the 09/10 football season, mainly due to repeated listener requests. In October 2015, the podcast became biweekly with a preview show of the weekend's football going out on a Friday followed by a show on Monday reflecting on the weekend's action and previewing any midweek games that may be occurring.
