The Gloaming 3 (also referred to as "3") is the third studio album by the contemporary Irish/American music group The Gloaming. It was released on February 22, 2019.

“Bronwyn Leigh,” which opens the set titled “Doctor O’Neill” was composed by Scottish fiddler Ryan McKasson.

Release and reception

The Gloaming 3 was released February 2019 to positive reviews.

In its favorable review, The Irish Times located the album at the "intersection where unapologetically traditional music-making sits so comfortably alongside the most visionary, forward-facing musical exploration." [1]

Hot Press called the album "transcendent," and "even more beautiful than the previous two records." [2]

Written in Music called it "exceptional... [an] insanely good album [from] one of the most important bands of our time." [3]

Live at the NCH is a live album by the contemporary Irish/American music group The Gloaming. It was released on March 2, 2018 on Real World Records.

Two soundtrack albums were released for the 2015 historical romance film Brooklyn: an original soundtrack and an original score. Lakeshore Records published both the film score and soundtrack albums. The score for the film's incidental music is composed by Michael Brook, whose 24 tracks – which also includes a song performed by Iarla Ó Lionáird – were published into the score album, and was released on October 30, 2015. Prior to the release, four tracks from the film score, were released excusively as singles on October 27, 2015, along with a full album preview revealed by IndieWire magazine.
