"The Consequence" was made available for free digital download before the first single, "Underdog" preceded the album's release. While touring in support of their second studio album Hold Me Down (2010), the band wrote slow-tempo material and heavy-sounding songs. Between March and May 2011, they recorded with producer Garth Richardson at Sunset Sound and The Sound Factory in Los Angeles, California. Partway through the process, vocalist Josh Franceschi suffered a panic attack, which resulted in him being hospitalized and the band losing time in the studio. Described as an alternative rock and pop rock album, Sinners Never Sleep was a departure from the pop punk sound of their previous releases.

Speak Like You Talk is the debut studio album by American rock band Letlive. Even though there are 12 songs on the album, there at 69 tracks in total. Of these tracks, eight are individual full-length songs, 3 tracks make up the collective song "2 in 6.8 Billion", and 58 tracks make up the hidden song which is revealed as "You are Not Your Username" followed by a Roman numeral for each track. In the CD cover, under the lyrics for "2 in 6.8 Billion", it reads "this is fellowship not follow ship not to be confused as this ships bow martyr." Which is what the hidden song opens with. The mention of martyrs is uncanny to the first track of Letlive's next album.

The Blackest Beautiful is the third studio album by American rock band Letlive. It was released by Epitaph Records on July 9, 2013. Recorded between June 2012 and January 2013, the album used four drum sessions, and went through ten recording engineers before settling on Stephen George. The drums were recorded with session musician Christopher Crandall, in the absence of the band having a permanent drummer at the time. The album incorporated a variety of music styles based on its members, including punk rock, funk, and soul; it was mastered and mixed to have a "more human" and "organic" sound.

Brutality Will Prevail were a Welsh hardcore band founded in Cardiff in 2005. They have toured Europe and Asia and have made festival appearances at Reading and Leeds, Download and Ghostfest. They have also been covered in magazines such as the NME and Kerrang!.

If I'm the Devil... is the fourth and final studio album by American rock band Letlive, released globally through Epitaph Records on June 10, 2016. Recorded throughout 2015, it is their first album since the departure of guitarist and percussionist Jean Nascimento, who had been a member of the band from 2007 to 2014.
