The Greens of Europe (Spanish : Los Verdes de Europa; LVdeE) is a green political party in Spain founded in 2005 as a split from the Confederation of the Greens. [1]

The party has been the ruling party of the Spanish municipality of Villena since 2011, [2] winning an absolute majority in the 2015 Spanish local elections. [3] [4]

In the 2012 Legislative elections, the party took 34 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and nine seats in the Senate. The Green Alliance is a Spanish ecologist and eco-socialist political party, ideologically located to the left. It was created on 10 June 2021 within the Unidas Podemos electoral coalition. It has a representative in the Congress of Deputies, Juan López de Uralde, founder and former leader of Equo.
