The History of Dschinghis Khan: The Historical & Millennium Mega-Mixes is a compilation album by German disco group Dschinghis Khan, released by Jupiter Records/BMG on 26 April 1993. The album compiles the group's singles from 1979 to 1995 and includes two medleys titled "The History of Dschinghis Khan" and new remixes of "Dschinghis Khan" and "Moskau". [1] [2]

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a Pakistani vocalist, musician, composer and music director, primarily a singer of qawwali, a form of Sufi devotional music. Dschinghis Khan is a German Euro disco pop band. It was originally formed in Munich in 1979 to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Dschinghis Khan". Since 2018, there have been two groups with the name: the one led by original members Henriette Strobel and Edina Pop, and a more current group led by original member Wolfgang Heichel and Stefan Track, who replaced the late Louis Potgieter in the 2005 reunion concert.
